In order to fully explain this, it is mentioned that "existing in the indicated place," meaning that because it is by means of this that it can be indicated in that place, it is said to exist in the indicated place. By merely mentioning that the form realm is indicable, it is established that the remaining seventeen realms are not indicable. The question of "how many are with obstruction" is raised in the context of the eighteen realms, so it should be applied to all of them. In order to distinguish non-form, form is mentioned. Because there are also non-manifest forms in the dharma realm, in order to show that form exists, "ten" is mentioned. These are the sense faculties such as the eye, and their objects, the five form realms. Obstruction is being obstructed, and that which is associated with it is being with obstruction. Obstruction is obstructing through object, target, and obscuration, and there are three kinds of distinctions. Here, in order to show that the obstruction of obscuration is considered to be with obstruction, it is mentioned that "what obstructs what." The obstruction of obscuration is that which becomes an obstacle to the arising of other things in one's own realm. Thus, it is shown that what obstructs the arising of other things in one's own realm, and what is obstructed, both are with obstruction. These ten form realms, when arising in their respective realms, obstruct each other, therefore they are obscuring and obstructing, so they are all with obstruction. The remaining seven mind realms and the dharma realm are considered to be without obstruction. The question of "how many are with defilements" is raised in the context of the realms. The phrase "fifteen and the parts of the last three" refers to the five sense faculties such as the eye, the five object realms such as form, and the five consciousness realms such as eye consciousness. These fifteen realms are all completely with defilements. There are also three in the beginning, namely the eye, form, and eye consciousness realms, therefore "last" is mentioned. The last three are the mind realm, the dharma realm, and the mental consciousness realm. The parts of these are parts, and are with defilements. It is not the case that everything is with defilements, like the eye and so on. Among these, there is also the truth of the path and

That which is not a part of the nature of the unconditioned is that which is tainted, because it is accompanied by taint. Therefore, it is said that these give rise to afflictions, and thus, because afflictions arise from them, they are called tainted. The consciousnesses of the eye, etc., are non-conceptual, so how do they give rise to afflictions in forms, etc.? Although it should not be said that afflictions, etc., and the consciousnesses of the eye, etc., arise together in forms, etc., it is said that forms, etc., give rise to afflictions because they are objects of direct experience. Thus, relying on the eye and relying on forms, etc., eye consciousness arises, and the forms experienced by eye consciousness are conceptualized by mind consciousness, and afflictions arise from conceptualization. Similarly, the rest should also be stated. What is untainted? It is said to be the part of the last three, namely the realms of mind, phenomena, and mind consciousness. The truth of the path and whatever belongs to the side of the unconditioned is untainted. What is associated with desire? It is said to be connected with the eighteen realms. Forms, etc., the five objects, are desirable, so they are desires, and the realms that cherish them are to be known as the desire realm. Furthermore, if one were to say, "What is associated with the desire realm?" the word "realm" is not mentioned in the reasoning, but it is said to be "associated with desire." Those associated with the desire realm are those included in the desire realm, which is another name for the nature of the desire realm. Thus, wherever all desire and craving arise, they are all included in the desire realm. These are also the six sense realms, the six object realms, and the six consciousness realms. What is associated with form? It is fourteen, namely the root realms of eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind, and the four objects and the four consciousness realms of those objects. These fourteen are associated with the form realm. Why are there no smell and
