That which is called "of one kind" refers to the category of afflictions, and not to virtue or the indeterminate. This is because of the four afflictions, such as ignorance of self, and because they are always co-existent. That which is called "entering continuously" is a synonym for "arising successively without interruption." The exceptions to this general statement are: the time of an Arhat, the Noble Path, and the state of cessation. An Arhat does not arise at the time of an Arhat because he has abandoned the afflictive dharmas of the three realms. It also does not arise at the time of the Noble Path, because at that time, the noble wisdom is extremely incompatible with the view of self that arises universally. After that, it arises from the Alaya-consciousness, because it has not been abandoned at the time of learning. It also does not arise at the time of cessation, because the state of cessation is far superior to the state of non-perception. It should be understood that it does not arise in any of these situations. Here, it is necessary to understand the meaning of the definitive word, the object, the co-existence, and the time of arising. Why is it called "aggregate"? The phrase "because of piling up" means that piling up belongs to the category of aggregate. For example, the piling up of form is the aggregate of form; similarly, the piling up up to consciousness is shown to be the aggregate of consciousness. In this way, the sutras briefly summarize forms, etc., which differ in time, cause, form, realm, and place. Therefore, form, etc., are shown as aggregates. Whatever form it may be, whether past, future, or present, internal or external, coarse or subtle, inferior or excellent, near or far, all are gathered together and go into the category called the aggregate of form. Similarly, it is said that it is the same up to consciousness. The distinction between past, future, and present is the difference in time. Internal or external is the difference in cause. For example, the internal ones are those that belong to one's own continuum, while the external ones are different from that.

These are those. Gross or subtle is called the difference of aspects. Among them, the grossness and subtlety of form are interdependent. Alternatively, that which is obstructed is gross, and that which is unobstructed is subtle. Feeling, perception, volition, and consciousness also arise dependent on the five faculties, and are gross. Those that arise dependent on the mind are subtle. Bad or excellent is called the difference of behavior. Like this, those who are seized by bad behavior are bad. Those who are seized by excellent behavior are excellent. What is near and what is far is called the difference of place. Feeling and so on are near and far depending on the place. Form and so on are called form, feeling, perception, volition, and consciousness. Because it is abbreviated, it is called the abbreviation of the different times, causes, aspects, behaviors, and places of form, feeling, perception, volition, and consciousness. Its object is the abbreviation itself. Because those are abbreviated, the meaning of "aggregate" appears in the sutra, and it should be known as the meaning of "collection." Like this, all those forms of the past and so on are all gathered together and called the aggregate of form, from there onwards, until consciousness is also shown in this way. The five aggregates and the meaning of aggregates have been explained. The ultimate explanation of the detailed explanation of the five aggregates. The fourth volume is completed. All conditioned phenomena are included in the five aggregates, and all phenomena of conditioned and unconditioned phenomena are included in the sense bases and realms, so after explaining the aggregates, it is necessary to explain the sense bases, how many, what, and what is the meaning of the sense bases? Therefore, the twelve sense bases are mentioned. What are those? Starting from the eye sense base and the form sense base, etc., up to the mind sense base and the dharma sense base. The eye and so on are the same as before.
