So, experiencing happiness is when what ceases, and so on. Then, in terms of dependent origination, when what arises, there arises the unwillingness to separate, and that is the feeling of happiness? How is that? There is no contradiction here, because in reality, it also encompasses the other aspect. The so-called "when what arises, there is an unwillingness to separate," in reality, it also shows that when it ceases, one will also want to meet. The so-called "when what ceases, one will want to meet," here in reality, it also shows that when it arises, one will be unwilling to separate. Then, how about those ascetics who, unwillingly, are entangled and meet with attachment, and when the happiness arising from attachment arises, there arises the desire to separate, and when it ceases, they are unwilling to meet? That is not for the sake of refutation, it does not arise from that itself, because for those who see happiness as hindering discipline and meditation, neither of these two situations will occur, so there is no contradiction. Suffering is when what arises, one wants to separate, which is also when what ceases, one does not want to meet. Separation is the cessation of its continuity. Desire is manifest desire and aspiration. Neither suffering nor happiness is when what arises, one will not want either. For it, because it makes the body and mind grow, and is of a pleasing nature. Experiencing happiness is when what ceases, one wants to meet with it. Because it makes the body and mind decline, and the nature is incompatible. Experiencing suffering is when it arises, one wants to separate from it. For the situation where neither arises, there is also a feeling, which is neither happiness nor suffering, like karma that is neither black nor white. Therefore, because it enters a state that is neither helpful nor harmful. When it arises, there is no desire for either. These three types of feelings, each one also becomes six types due to the difference in location, because it arises from the touch produced by the gathering of eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind. If it is further summarized into the support, it will become two types, namely bodily and mental. Among them, eye, ear, nose

And, the faculties of the tongue are not considered separate from the body, because they are obstructive and accumulative, so they are included within the body and referred to as the body. Therefore, the experience of touch arising from the aggregation of the eye, ear, nose, tongue, and body is indicated as of the body. The experience of touch arising from the aggregation of the mind exists only in the mind, therefore it is called of the mind. Furthermore, due to the difference between incompatible aspects and antidotes, each experience transforms into two types: accompanied by defilements and without defilements, and dependent on attachment and dependent on manifestation. Defilement is craving for the body. The body is the internal aggregates of appropriation. Craving for it, like a single son being embraced by poverty, enters in a way of desiring not to be separated, that is defilement. Being accompanied by that defilement is being accompanied by defilement. Not being accompanied by that craving, but being in accordance with being free from it, is being without defilement. Forms and other undesirable sense qualities

The principle of "clinging to characteristics" is explained. The object is the object of focus. Characteristics are the distinctions of the object, such as blue and yellow, which are the causes for establishing the object of focus. Among them, clinging to characteristics refers to the discrimination of thinking "this is blue" and "this is yellow." If that's the case, then wouldn't the eye consciousness and so on, as well as the corresponding consciousness, not become the nature of clinging to the characteristics of the object, since there is no discrimination? Know that it is only recognizing the nature of clinging to characteristics, but because it is weak, it is not completely eliminated. Otherwise, for the distinctions that were not previously understood, one would not later discriminate and think "this is blue" and "this is yellow." Even if the self-nature is not different, it should be understood that consciousness is different due to location and object of focus. From the perspective of location, there are six aggregates of consciousness, namely the consciousness arising from the contact of the gathering of the eye faculty, and similarly up to the consciousness arising from the contact of the gathering of the mind faculty. The objects of focus are the birthplaces of having characteristics, not having characteristics, becoming small, becoming vast, being immeasurable, and being nothing at all. Among them, from the perspective of sound, whatever is fabricated as the self-nature of a thing, that is a characteristic; the self-nature of the thing that accompanies that characteristic is having characteristics. The fabricated self-nature of that thing, and the consciousness that thinks "that is sound," is focusing on having characteristics. Not having characteristics refers to not having fabricated characteristics, namely the self-nature of things, Nirvana, and the peak of existence. Among them, not having fabricated characteristics, and the not having characteristics of form and feeling, are called not having characteristics because they are not obvious. Not understanding the connection between sound and meaning, although one may have a consciousness of only one's own self-nature for a thing, one will not think it is form, therefore, the consciousness of that object is focusing on not having characteristics. The realm of Nirvana is also the self-nature in which the characteristics of all conditioned phenomena are completely submerged, therefore, the samadhi that focuses on it and the corresponding consciousness are focusing on not having characteristics. The peak of existence is not having characteristics because it is not obvious, therefore, for it
