It is born. At that time, it is only ceasing, so at the time of ceasing, it becomes the time of birth. However, if it is something that does not exist, how can it be that even though it does not exist, it is like birth? Even if it does not exist before birth, why not consider it becoming "dependent on"? Even so, many excessive words about existence and non-existence should be discarded. At that time, is consciousness possessed of self by the nature of consciousness? Or is it without self? It should be examined. If it possesses self, then at that time it is itself born, so what is the purpose of being born again? However, if it is without self, how can it be born without self, and be like having an agent? In this way, "dependent on" is also established. For the moment, what is the meaning of this "birth"? Is it a synonym for "producing"? If it is said to be "producing," then what does the producer do? Like this, the agent is spoken of. If it is said to be "causing birth," if birth becomes the nature to be produced, then how does it act on itself? However, if it is not the nature, then nothing different can be seen from it. Or, in what sense is it said to be the agent? The agent has no meaning of its own. Like this, "making happiness" is understood as "producing." "Making a beard" is understood as "shaving." "Making for a swimmer" is understood as "searching." "Making wages" is understood as "hiring after paying wages." "Making results in learning" is understood as "placing." "Making like the father's words" is understood as "accomplishing as he said." "Making opportunity" is understood as "removing obstacles." Therefore, the meaning of the "making" of the agent of birth must be explained. If it is said to be the meaning of "causing to produce," then birth will also be born again, so it will also have other births, because there is no end, it will become very excessive. Or, what dependence on birth does it have? Why say "causing to be born"? Therefore, even without action, just obtaining self-nature, like an agent, consciousness is born, this is just

It is said that it depends only on conditions. If there is no action here and no agent, then the only agent is behind it. Therefore, the statement that it arises dependently is reasonable. If it is said that there is no need to explain the same nature separately, it is unreasonable, it is not unnecessary. Just like this, saying that anything is fine for form is to fully show the meaning of form. Like this, the meaning of form has three aspects: the meaning of being able to be observed as an object; the meaning of being able to be form, which is produced by the touch of the accumulation of hands, etc.; and the imputation of form, which is the meaning of being able to be form. Like this, the form that can be indicated, such as "Naupabino," is form because it can be observed as an object; the form with obstructive touch, which is produced by the touch of the accumulation of hands, etc., is form because it can be form; the form that cannot be indicated and has no obstructive touch, that is, the non-manifesting form of body and speech, the imputation of form, is form because it can be form. Like this, if there is no body and speech, it cannot be imputed, because if there is no form, there is no imputation. If you ask how to know that there is non-manifesting form, it is because the Sutra of Individual Births says that the Dharma-sphere is unindicatable and unobstructed, but it does not say that it is not form. Also, in the Elephant View Sutra, the Dharma-sphere is shown, and it says, "Which of these are Dharma-forms, this is the Form Aggregate." If non-manifesting form is abandoned, then what other Dharma-forms are transformed into Dharma-spheres? If the past and future forms are Dharma, why not accept it? This contradicts the Sutra of Individual Births, which says that the Dharma-sphere is not included in the eleven birthplaces, and is unindicatable and unobstructed. How can the past and future eyes, etc., be reasonably indicated and have obstructive touch?

English

Furthermore, it should not be considered as form itself. Because, they are not form at that time. The twelve sources will also not exist in the three times. Because, the past and future of the eye, etc., are the dharma source. Similarly, saying that one of the many form sources is a form source is also to establish the sources as only twelve. Establishing it in this way is also to show the taker and the taken in relation to each other. If it is said that the object of one aspect of the mind source and the dharma source is everything, then is the non-duality not harmed? If so, it is because the connection is well shown by relying on the six faculties. That is, the object of this faculty is only this, not others, these are five dyads. The object of only this faculty is this, not others, this is the sixth dyad. If it is said that the five faculties are also only the object of the six faculties, so it is determined as the sixth dyad, then is it not also harmed? If so, then which faculty's only object is which, this is the sixth dyad. In this way, the five faculties completely abandon the dharma source. Because, they are not only the object of the mind, but also the support, because the mind is the nature of the six consciousnesses. The summarizing verse is: Which faculty's meaning is which, these are five dyads. Which is the meaning of which, this is the sixth source. If the five, such as the eye, become the dharma source, what will happen? In the sutra of each source, monks, the external dharma source cannot be shown to be uncollected by the eleven sources and without obstruction, the determined thing will not be done. The mind is called a moment, and it also goes upward, what is said in this way is also in terms of its continuity, so there is no contradiction. Like a shadow and a burning flame walking. The four truths, three, two, one, saying that the numbers are different in this way is also because the referents are different.
