It is also a school of non-existence. Because of destroying all views, it should also be known as the school of destruction. Thus, explaining the meaning of the hundred verses of the Sutra Pitaka is to show one aspect of explaining the meaning of words. With this aspect, those with intelligence should also correctly understand the meaning of other words. The second chapter from the reasoning of detailed explanation is complete. Furthermore, the meaning of words can be understood through four ways: by synonyms, by characteristics, by etymology, and by differentiation. Among these, synonyms are other names. Characteristics are the meaning to which the name refers. Etymology is stating the reason for the name. Differentiation is differentiating the object to be expressed in terms of form and formlessness, visibility and invisibility, and so on. Thus, the meaning of words has been completely shown with all aspects, and the ground for individual correct understanding has also been established. Considering the differences in those to be tamed, sometimes some things are said. The Blessed One also sometimes only spoke of synonyms, for example, in the Sutra on Dependent Arising, it says: "Not knowing, not seeing, not realizing, darkness, universal ignorance, ignorance, darkness, as it is in reality with this and that, this is called ignorance." Sometimes only the characteristic is stated, for example, in the same sutra, it says that name and form arise from the condition of consciousness. What is name? It is the four non-form aggregates, from the aggregate of feeling to the aggregate of consciousness. What is form? It is anything at all, all of which is caused by the four great elements." Sometimes only the etymology is stated, for example, like food, because it is form and can become form, therefore it is called the aggregate of grasping form. Sometimes only the differentiation is stated, for example, it says that actions arise from the condition of ignorance. What are actions? There are three types of actions: bodily action, verbal action, and mental action.

These are the formations. Conditioned by formations, there is consciousness, so what is consciousness? It is the collection of the six consciousnesses, as it is said. The meaning of the words has been explained. Now, the connection will be explained. There are two types of connection. One is the connection of related meanings, for example, 'Monks, the realization of the seal of the noble Dharma and the extremely pure view will be explained,' and after saying that, 'Monks, if someone says: I have not obtained emptiness, signlessness, and a little non-existence,' what is the connection here? Similarly, 'If this great earth trembles, disappears, and does not arise, who would generate faith without understanding the fundamental view? Who would believe?' After saying that, 'Monks, in the past there was a teacher named Good Eye,' what is the connection here? And so on. The connection of the order of before and after, for example, in the noble truths, why is the cause shown after the result? Similarly, in the three trainings, why are concentration and wisdom shown after morality and concentration? How should the connection of these sutra fragments be understood? 'The realization of the seal of the noble Dharma will be explained,' and after saying that, 'Monks, if someone says,' this is temporarily to explain the seal of the noble Dharma of realization that one wishes to express, this is its connection. 'Who would generate faith without understanding the fundamental view? Who would believe?' After saying that, showing the birth story of Good Eye is to make people believe that faith will arise in themselves. This shows this meaning: Even then, I did not deceive the Shravakas, so what is the use of speaking now? Showing impermanence itself is also to fully show that its meaning is great and difficult to obtain, this is its connection. In the explanation of the noble truths

The connection is as it is realized, that is, seeing suffering as suffering itself, and then seeking its cause everywhere. Then it is about stopping it. Then it is about the method of stopping it. Thus, just as one analyzes the former by means of illness, its basis, the state of being without illness, and the way of seeking medicine, it is explained how the noble truths are realized as they are. This is its connection. The so-called "three trainings" are said to be that if one has discipline, one can keep the mind in equanimity. If the mind is kept in equanimity, one will know the truth as it is. This is its connection. Furthermore, the three trainings should be explained by ten causes. Or, both of these sequences are good. It is by the very cause of the three vows, and the three vows are for the sake of truly guarding against immoral conduct, truly guarding the object, and truly guarding the afflictions. It is also by the very cause of the three pure conducts, and the three pure conducts are truly taking up abandonment, abandoning it temporarily, and abandoning it permanently. It is also by the antidote to the three kinds of pervasive afflictions, and the three kinds of pervasive afflictions are the pervasive afflictions of misconduct of those who commit sins, and the pervasive afflictions of craving of those who desire other than that, and the pervasive afflictions of views of the heretics. It is also by the antidote to the bad migrations and the good migrations, with harm and without harm. Among them, the bad migrations are the bad destinies. The good migrations with harm are the gods and humans who live in desire. Those without harm are the gods who live in form and formlessness. It is also by the antidote to black karma, pulling karma, and white karma, for black ripens sentient beings in hell. Pulling ripens in the desire realm other than that. White ripens in form and formlessness. It is also by the antidote to the three states of affliction.
