Thinking of transcending suffering will lead to detachment from desire, and ultimately to liberation, this should be expressed with such thought. The section from "The ignorant, untaught person has long cleaned" to "is grasped" is a passage from the Sutra Pitaka. Among them, cleaning means achieving beneficial things. Hiding means avoiding harmful things. Why? Because the teaching is taken as one's own. How is it taken as one's own? Because it is promised and grasped by saying, "This is mine, this is me, this is my own." Among them, promise is view, because it is promised in two ways. Grasping and existence, because attachment arises from following it. "This is mine" is the way of owning, and "This is me, this is my own" is the way of self, these two kinds of self-view arise together, both innate and imputed, and also different bases and the same base, in order, and the two kinds of craving that follow. Another way of saying it is the pride of thinking "I am" and the two kinds of self-view, and the two kinds of craving that follow. All of these are taken as one's own by its manner and its cause. In short, this shows that the ignorant cling to the aggregates, and wrongly pursue craving, including karma, or self-view, or pride, or the wrong pursuit of craving. Taking the example of tinder and fire, "Extending from that, thinking, pursuing the meaning of extending, contemplating extending and abiding" is a passage from the Sutra Pitaka. Among them, extending means extending the line. Considering merit as manifest action is thinking. Desire is pursuing the meaning of one's own nature. Separately contemplating and abiding the mind is attention. Whatever merit is thought of, one will naturally pursue its meaning, or separately contemplate and abide in it, for example, the taste of medicine is sweet or spicy.

Just as it is done. Monks, monks are also knowledgeable about the Dharma. If asked, what kind of knowledge is it? That is to say, a monk's knowledge of the Dharma is like this: what is called the "Sutra Section" and the "Section Proclaimed by Songs" are sections of the Sutra Section. Among them, whether it is spoken by the Buddha or by the Shravakas after being permitted by the Buddha, it is called the Sutra Section because it briefly explains its meaning. The same content is later proclaimed and praised in the form of verses, which is the Section Proclaimed by Songs. The Section of Prophecies refers to the part where the Blessed One prophesies about the past and future Shravakas, etc., and the part that has a definite meaning. The Section of Verses refers to the part that is explained by combining two, three, four, five, or six verses. The Section of Self-Speaking is not spoken for a specific person, but for the sake of the Dharma being able to abide in the world, the Self-Speaking spoken by the Blessed One is the Section of Self-Speaking. The Section of Origins is related to the Vinaya, and the Vinaya is distinguished in detail through events, that is, the Blessed One tells this story, this occasion, and the reason for the occurrence of the event, and the Blessed One says this, which is what is said. The Section of Parables, such as the parable of the nun Utpalavarna, is the part that explains other examples in detail in order to be understood. The Section of Such Occurrences is related to the causes and conditions of previous lives. The Section of Jataka refers to the Blessed One telling the stories of his past Bodhisattva stages. The Extensive Section refers to the Mahayana, through what kind of teachings, the Bodhisattvas perfect the ten perfections and the ten grounds, and finally obtain the basis of the ten powers - the fruit of Buddhahood. The Section of Wonderful Dharmas refers to the extraordinary merits of the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Shravakas. The Section of Correct Definition refers to those who directly see the truth and others, who correctly define the meaning of the Sutra Section according to the Dharma.

Napa. It is called mother because it explains that meaning in detail. Because it is the basis for explaining the meaning of the sutras other than that. It is also called Dharma Abhidhamma, because it shows the characteristics without reversing them, thereby making people clearly tend to the characteristics of Dharma. In this way, the twelve scriptures of the Buddha are summarized into the three baskets. Why is the Mahayana called the extremely broad division? Because of the meaning of the words and the formation of the name. How is it the meaning of the words? In terms of the definite meaning of the words, the broad vehicle is the extremely broad division. The broad vehicle is also the Mahayana, because it has seven kinds of greatness. Among the seven kinds of greatness, the greatness of Dharma is because it has countless sutras such as hundreds of thousands. The greatness of generating mind is because for the benefit of all sentient beings, at the ultimate point of all merits and faults arising and diminishing, the mind of unsurpassed perfect and complete enlightenment is generated. The greatness of faith is because of faith in the extremely profound and vast Dharma. The greatness of intention is because on the pure land of higher intention, the intention of equality between oneself and others is obtained for all sentient beings. The greatness of accumulation is because when entering the ground, there are immeasurable accumulations of merit and wisdom in each moment. The greatness of time is because of repeated efforts in three countless kalpas.
