Furthermore, the nature of accordance is the nature of combination, that is, the nature of not contradicting the Dharma. The nature of having skillful means is the nature of suitability, that is, the nature of explaining in accordance with those to be tamed. The nature of accordance is the nature of the collection of limbs of constant diligence and protection, that is, the nature of accordance with pure conduct. For example, it is like the case of arising from explaining the voice with five limbs, the previous words clarify the later words. These four later words and detailed explanations show that answering all questions has four qualities, namely, not contradicting before and after, conforming to the Dharma, conforming to those to be tamed, and conforming to the supreme meaning. The scriptures say that these eight words fully show that answering has eight qualities. These eight qualities are: the nature of entering into meaning and definitely grasping, the nature of being related to words and letters that are popular in the world, the nature of accordance with the opponent's contradiction, the nature of definitely understanding the meaning of profound words, the nature of words and letters that benefit the listener and remain unshakably on the basis, the nature of clearly distinguishing the thoughts and inclinations of those to be tamed, quoting scriptures, explaining the meaning of words, the nature of conforming to inclinations, thoughts, and meditation, and the nature of showing definitively without attachment to the manifestation of sound as it is. Monks, when engaging in speech, desire and hatred, etc., are sections of the sutras. From here, abandoning the basis of speech with afflictions, it is fully shown what should be spoken and for what purpose. Among them, the basis of speech with all afflictions has nine aspects: wanting one's own side to win, being angry with the opponent if one loses, being proud if one's own side is established, wanting to punish the opponent if they mention faults, being angry if they don't mention faults, holding grudges in order to retaliate after being angry, and the characteristic of unhappiness if one loses is unclear mind. The preliminary to the root of all these disputes is twofold, namely,

The inferiority of the intention of becoming a renunciate, and the basis of concealment is in accordance with the place of leakage, which is the place with gain and respect. Being associated with this is for the purpose of generating hatred towards those who have become its enemies, and for the purpose of concealing one's own faults. Not relying on this, simply because it is abandoned, the first root of dispute is completely abandoned. The second root is for the sake of eliminating the complete suffering of views. The mind of evil views is completely suffering, because it is the characteristic of not being completely pacified. Here it is also said: Victory and defeat, desire for accomplishment, talking about what has happened and what has not happened, if talking about what has not happened, from anger, only attachment arises, defeat then malice, etc., after abandoning the seven, make a decisive statement. The two foundations of dispute are in the front, from where does this fault arise. Among them, speech with all kinds of defilements is completely shown in three ways, because it speaks without being peaceful and without measuring, and because it makes it transcend the established sect, and because it slanders others. After abandoning such speech with reasons, what kind of speech should be spoken? That is, meaning and Dharma, whether it is to pursue what kind of meaning, or what kind of state Dharma and meaning fall into. Why should we speak? Because in order to accomplish three kinds of wisdom for others, to generate small, medium, and large patience, and to generate faith for both oneself and others. The noble ones speak like that, this is not others. The speech of the noble ones is like that, this is not another way. This should be understood as determining the person and determining the speech. Furthermore, those who are not separated from desire speak like that after observing separately, the speech of the nature of those who are separated from desire is like that. This determines the person who observes separately and the two who have the power of meditation. Furthermore, for the present happening and the hidden past, and the future time. Furthermore, it is completely shown how those are spoken, and how the fruit is spoken, that is, the person and
