The fault of 'ga' is because it does not instigate itself. The fault of the action of mind is because of not wanting to listen itself. The fault of thought is because of seeking faults in others, and the thought itself of wanting to be liberated from such debates. The fault of disagreement itself has five aspects. Among them, regarding the Dharma, because it is not definitely uttered but understood itself, there is no respect, and because the words and letters are not related, it is contempt. Regarding the person, because of the faults of discipline, words, and the utterance of words, there is no respect, and because of the fault of lineage, it is contempt. It is contempt to think that understanding and the ability to practice will not arise, considering it as self-nature. The fault of grasping also has five aspects: grasping wrongly, not grasping the meaning, not grasping the words, grasping without conveying instructions, and not grasping completely. The rest are not distinguished because they are easy to understand. The section called "Speech City" is a section of the Sutra Pitaka, which fully shows that those who correctly gather possess six qualities of speech. Speech is pleasant itself, words are excellent itself, meaning is excellent itself, without impurity itself, how appropriate itself, and vast itself. Among them, in two ways, one should know speech is pleasant itself. By speech being vast itself, because it makes the retinue into a string, and speech being gentle itself. In two ways, it is words being excellent itself: the definitive words of the words being excellent itself, and making the expression understandable itself. The rest are each having the meaning of reason itself, because it is worthy of being heard, and not having the intention of obtaining etc. itself, and combining the retinue as it is itself, and having immeasurable fearlessness itself. From the scriptural authority, it is from the perspective of the city of Nirvana itself, and speech being gentle itself, and the definitive words of the words being excellent itself, and making it understandable itself, and having Dharma and meaning itself, and not relying on respect from faith itself, and speaking appropriately itself, and because of the cause of being vast and skillful in means, therefore the speech city is from clear to completely inexhaustible.

It is said to be up to this point. The one with eight kinds of speech, in short, should be known to have three qualities. That is, to master in one way. Nature in two ways. Combination in the remaining ways. After that, the venerable Sakya monks gathered and assembled in the place of offering, which is called the section of the Sutra Pitaka. Among them, reverence means teaching. From reverence to thinking with all one's heart is explanation. This shows that listening with reverence is free from six faults. The six faults are the fault of arrogance, the fault of disbelief, the fault of displeasure, the fault of external distraction, the fault of internal contraction, and the fault of boredom. Here it is also said: arrogance and disbelief, not seeking meaning, external distraction and internal contraction, boredom are the defilements of listening. Asking questions about Dharma and Vinaya, that is, knowing words and letters in relation to reason and connection, is a section of the Sutra Pitaka. From this, it is fully shown that answering three questions has eight qualities. From the perspective of meaning and connection, for those who ask questions because they do not understand, it should be in a way that the meaning is not reversed, and the connection should be made in a way that is related. From the perspective of Dharma nature and sequence, for contradictory questions, it should be in a way that is in accordance with Dharma nature, and in a way that reveals the intention. For both questions, it should be in a way that makes them understand, and in a way that explains as if taming. From the perspective of realization, for asking for instructions, it should be in a way that is in accordance with the manifestation of worldly qualities, and in a way that is in accordance with the manifestation of transmundane qualities, because it is the collection of the limbs of the noble path that is constantly and diligently guarded. Constant and diligent guarding is constant and diligent guarding, because the mind is constantly protected from leaks by obscuration. Furthermore, reason itself is clarified by the connection itself, because there is no connection between before and after.
