For the sake of making those who know shame dwell in happiness, if those who desire to learn associate without being moved by the same discipline, it is indeed happiness. For the sake of restraining the defilements of the seen dharma, one undertakes the basis of training in order to reverse the defilements that have arisen in this way. For the sake of reversing the defilements of future lives, one undertakes the basis of training in order to prevent entering into future individuals. It is for the sake of following the pure conduct and for the sake of making the pure conduct last long, that is, my pure conduct will last long, which is to follow the pure conduct with indication and ultimate meaning, namely, ordination and the continuum of thought. One of these is made the lord of not turning away from the teaching. One is the state of being without fault. One is the perfection of cause. Two are the perfection of enjoyment of material possessions. Two are the perfection of enjoyment of dharma. Two are the perfection of attaining nirvana. One is the perfection of the greatness of the meaning of the teaching. The suffering of a bhikshu arhat who has exhausted the defilements, which is called cessation, is a fragment of the sutras. Therein, the suffering of arising ceases, because it has become an obstacle to entering. That which is pacified is because it is the nature of never being born. In order to distinguish it from worldly cessation, pacification is mentioned, and in order to distinguish it from the pacification of thinned objects, cessation is mentioned. That which belongs to this life is cooled down, because it is separated from the heat of the latent tendencies of the afflictions, just as the heat of a shard of a pot becomes cool. That which is extinguished is nirvana without the remainder of the aggregates. Furthermore, those in the world who are free from desire are the cessation of the suffering of the lower realms, but not pacification, because it is the nature of later birth. It is also not cooled down, because the latent tendencies remain. The higher realms are also not extinguished. For an arhat, it is the opposite of that, being between pacification and extinction.

Furthermore, the cessation of worldly beings is not peaceful, because it is accompanied by the suffering of the lower realms. It is also not excellent because the latent predispositions have not been abandoned. Again, merely entering is not necessarily liberation. On the contrary, the cessation of suffering for the noble ones is peaceful, excellent, and definitely liberation. In accordance with this, it is taught that it is the state between the cessation and extinction of suffering for the Arhat. The Brahmin is like this, for example, "without doubt" and so on are fragments of the sutras. From this, the characteristics of the true Brahmin are shown by the perfection of wisdom and abandonment. Merely being without doubt is the perfection of wisdom, because there is no doubt about the truth and what one has attained oneself. The rest is the perfection of abandonment, because all the afflictions of those who go to bad destinies and those who are reborn are abandoned. Merely cutting off regret completely shows that the karma that becomes affliction is abandoned, thereby completely abandoning all the afflictions of those who go to bad destinies. The rest is the abandonment of all the afflictions of those who are reborn, because it is completely shown that desire and attachment are abandoned. Craving for arising and ceasing is the desire to become arising, the desire to become not arising. Attachment is desire for that itself and the desire for form and formless realms. Having completely abandoned all craving, because all formations have been exhausted, if all aggregates are completely known, then one will no longer want to crave. This verse and "Karma and existence and ignorance, are the cause of actions in future lives" should also be combined, only the order is slightly different. Furthermore, merely being without doubt shows that three differences are obtained through knowing, and merely cutting off regret shows that the precepts pleasing to the noble ones are obtained. Thus, with the aspect of the Brahmin of the path of seeing, the characteristics of the Brahmin of learning are completely shown. The rest completely shows the characteristics of the Brahmin of no more learning, because it is completely shown that desire and attachment are abandoned. Arising and ceasing
