Action is a fragment of the Sutra section. In this regard, one becomes a logician in two ways: namely, through direct realization itself, and through not exceeding its scope of activity itself. Therefore, it is stated that conduct and abiding in the ground of engaging in logic. What is the ground of engaging in logic? It is those who possess their own courage, and whatever direct realization is possessed by individual ordinary beings, that is, possessing that very scriptural authority. Ground is a synonym for place. Thus, one sentence is teaching, two sentences are explanation, three sentences are teaching, and the third should be understood as explanation. Furthermore, the logician is universally shown by the name itself and the definition itself. The term "examiner" is a name, for the sake of distinction, that is, because it is said that one also reasons about what is sought in meaning, it is not proper to be excessive there. The term "abiding in the ground of engaging in logic" is a definition, that is, the cause of meditating through familiarity with logic in previous lifetimes, and being separated from seeing only that, and having engaged in familiarity with logic from beginningless time. Furthermore, from the scriptures, the logician should first be understood, that is, for the sake of outward investigation and thought, for the sake of prior habituation, for the sake of non-manifestation, for the sake of not relying on the scriptures themselves, for the sake of diligence, for the sake of attention, for the sake of prior stinginess and complete grasping, for the sake of having accomplished what should be accomplished, it is considered that logic has five perfections. One who possesses those is a logician. Among them, the term "for the sake of attention" means for the sake of attending to the place to be examined. The term "for the sake of complete grasping" means for the sake of completely grasping the three kinds of valid cognition. That is by individual ordinary beings. The phrase "death is not good" is a fragment of the Sutra section. In this regard, because of dying with a deteriorated and deluded mind, and because of dying and transmigrating without having done merit, and because of going unwillingly, in order, it should be understood that death is not good, dying is not good, and the future life is not good. In order to negate, an Arhat is a negation, that is, the mind is not deteriorated,

It is good to die without confusion, to transmigrate after doing merit, and to pass into nirvana without remainder. The so-called "thorn extraction" is a section of the Sutra Pitaka. Among them, relying on the power of individual discernment, in order to remove the entanglement of afflictions, therefore, they are the "thorn extractors." Relying on the power of cultivation, in order to destroy the habitual tendencies of the afflictions of the worldly path, therefore, they are the "thorn stirrers." Because the path of seeing completely destroys the category of habitual tendencies, therefore, they are the "thornless" ones. Because the path of cultivation completely destroys all habitual tendencies, therefore, they are the "thornless" ones. Furthermore, in the first fruit, in order to completely destroy the habitual tendencies to be abandoned by the path of seeing, therefore, they are the "thorn extractors." In the second fruit, because a small amount of what is to be abandoned by the cultivation practiced in the desire realm remains, therefore, they are the "thorn stirrers." In the third fruit, in order to abandon all of that, therefore, they are the "thornless" ones. In the fourth fruit, in order to abandon all the afflictions of the three realms, therefore, they are the "thornless" ones. Faith arises and then one goes forth. Having gone forth, one listens to the Dharma. This is a section of the Sutra Pitaka. Among them, "listening" means listening through words and meanings. Thinking is for the purpose of definitely thinking about the meaning as it has been heard. Measuring is reason, because it distinguishes differences by means of the well-spoken itself. Approaching realization is the aspect of cultivation, because it individually realizes the meaning as it is grasped. To make that truth manifest with the body is in order to realize it as it is at the time of transformation. To individually pierce with wisdom refers to the statement "I have made it manifest," in order to ascertain with worldly wisdom what is obtained after the wisdom that transcends the world. Furthermore, listening shows the wisdom that arises from listening. Thinking arises from thinking. Measuring and approaching realization both arise from the cultivation of the path of seeing and the path of cultivation. The path of seeing individually...
