is the reason. Abiding is the meaning of obtaining immovability, because there is no movement in the fourth dhyana. In this way, that samadhi is virtue, and how those become virtue, become controllable, become perfect, and possess the nature of various names, are all fully shown. Sometimes two words explain the form of two other words, for example, "contentment of mind" and "ease of mind" are called "joy of mind" and "mind without defilement," which is the meaning. Sometimes one word is expressed by another word, for example, "the truly excellent Dharma is taught, and one has the ability to fully understand," this is just an example. Here it is also said: In order to remove the impurities of the unfavorable aspects, in order for the arising of no afflictions and no defilements, in order to be immovable, through these two, one should understand complete purity and so on. Through the samadhi of two and two, the nature of virtue and how it is, the nature of controllability and the nature of accomplishment, are all excellently explained, possessing nature. Other names, complete purity is the absence of afflictions and the separation from near afflictions, in order, it is because of being separated from the near afflictions of desire, possessiveness, craving, views, pride, and doubt that are associated with gain, respect, and food. Complete taming is due to being upright and so on, of which uprightness is due to being very tamed because it arises effortlessly. Proficiency is because of being able to accomplish supernormal powers. Abiding is because of not completely degenerating. Obtaining immovability is because the fourth dhyana is free from all movement. Asking also said: Through the two is the true word, through the others is complete taming, because of being separated from the desire for gain and so on, craving and so on, because of being very tamed, because of the supernormal power qualities themselves, because of not degenerating, because of the extinction of movement. Through these meanings of accomplishment, in order, one should understand the nature of no afflictions and so on. Other names, complete purity is because of abandoning the inferior qualities that are not in accordance with it. Complete taming is because it is far away.

It is because it has been completed. The absence of afflictions is because the side of self-nature is not mixed with afflictions. Being free from near afflictions is because making it universally travel far away. Being upright is because there is no effort and it arises as desired. Being capable is because the superknowledges are capable. Abiding is because it is in accordance with the part that does not diminish. Obtaining immovability is the same as before. Possessing samadhi and place. This is called the verse of summary. Among them, abiding is following as desired. Rising is the mind that has not been placed in equipoise manifesting or another ground. The enjoyment of ease is the very capability and the very freedom from near afflictions. The field of activity is the object. Manifest accomplishment is generation. Concordance is in accordance with attainment. Discordance is not in accordance with it. Both are with both of them. Generation is increase. Decrease is decline. Means is the basis of both of them. Craving is also that which causes existence to arise, possessing desire with joy, this is called a section of the Sutra. Among them, completely abandoning is called teaching, and the remainder is explanation, because the abandonment of all states is universally shown. The abandonment of all states is the state of elimination, the state of suppression, the state of the path of seeing, the state of the path of cultivation, the state of the path of no more learning, the state of being separated from all entanglements, and the state of being separated from latent tendencies. The arising of craving is all entanglement, because it causes the mind to abide without being pacified. Therefore, being separated from it is pacification. The dormancy of craving is the state of seed, latent tendency, and it also constantly abides in the continuum. Therefore, being separated from it is extinction. If not even one aspect is spoken, then the differentiation of abandoning all states of existence will not be universally shown. Such words, although said to be synonyms, are without fault, just as was shown before. Logicians and
