It is fully shown what the activity of the teacher is and by whom it is fully grasped. Here, obstacles are considered to be evil demons, and therefore, because of conquering them, he is called Bhagavan. The perfection of the teacher is in speaking and accomplishing as it is, that is, speaking without error in order, and perfection of abandonment and knowledge, that is, abandoning all defilements, and completely awakening to reality as it is with omniscience. Furthermore, not being mistaken, not having defilements, and speaking as much as should be spoken, this itself is the perfection of the teacher, which is shown by the Tathagata and others to be in both ways. By what does one go, that is, by being endowed with knowledge and feet, wherein knowledge is the correct view, because it sees as it is. Feet are the remaining limbs of the path, thus it is shown that one goes by the eightfold noble path, because one who does not see or has no feet cannot walk. Furthermore, knowledge is the wisdom of seeing reality as it is, and its feet are discipline and concentration, thus it is shown that one goes by the three trainings. The wisdom mentioned earlier is the main one, because by its power, engaging in discipline and so on is completely pure, knowledge is like the eye and sees, and the feet are like the feet and walk. Furthermore, the three non-learning knowledges are knowledge, and the feet are from discipline onwards, up to the three superknowledges, thus it is shown that the perfection of the teacher is pleased by the three knowledges together with their collection. How does one go, that is, without turning back, and to where should one go, therefore it is called Sugata, in order to distinguish from the desireless ones of the outsiders and other Arhats. The activity of the teacher is twofold, that is, observing those in the world who have fortune and those who do not.

Therefore, it is called "Knower of the World." Taming is also taming, therefore it is called "Unsurpassed Tamer of Men." Taming men like Water God, Nanda, Angulimala, etc., who are easy to tame, is also for the sake of taming with easy methods and without faults, and for the sake of permanently taming to the ultimate meaning of Nirvana. What is meant by "who is upheld" is to show that the teachings are upheld by gods and humans. Because it is said, "Teacher of gods and humans." What is meant by "that" is what? It is said to refer to the Buddha Bhagavan, whoever is called Buddha is famous in this way, and fame and destruction are synonymous. Here it is said: Power and beauty, fame and glory, wisdom and, diligence perfectly endowed, these six are called destruction. Furthermore, the meaning of summarizing is to praise the merits of extensive and brief explanations. The extensive explanation is like what is said in the nine sentences. The brief explanation is the Buddha Bhagavan, because he understands all knowable things and completely destroys all demons and heretics. In the second chapter of the Sutra Pitaka, the difference between liberation from one's own afflictive obscurations and cognitive obscurations is shown by the two, brief and extensive explanations. Among them, what is meant by "the world including the gods" refers to the teachings. Among them, the difference of liberation is shown to the chief and non-chief among gods and humans by liberation and so on. The chief gods refer to the desire realm's sovereign demons and the meditative sovereign Brahma and so on. The chief humans refer to the Shramanas and Brahmins, who are also offered to by kings. The non-chief among gods and humans refers to the beings including the gods and humans other than these, from the world including the gods. Ordinary individuals who have not separated from desire are the unliberated ones, those who have separated from desire by the worldly path, those who have completely fallen away from the Dharma of vision, are the liberated ones, it is certain.

Those things that arise are not, but those who have the Dharma nature of complete non-retrogression are liberation and definite departure, but not separation, just like the young of an old turtle, because of the following of sleep. Nor is it complete liberation, because it will come again, and it is complete liberation to be able to go without returning and separating. Because their Dharma is not the same, the Blessed One teaches his own liberation and so on. Another case is that the outsiders are liberated from the bonds of the afflictions of that place by the world with Brahma, and they are also definitely liberated from the prison of that place, but like a person following behind, they are not separated from the three all bonds. Therefore, it is also not completely liberated from the bonds of the lower afflictions and the prison of beings, because it will return again. In order to distinguish them, the Blessed One teaches four kinds of his own liberation. Another case is that the outsiders are also liberated from the bonds of the lower afflictions, and they are also definitely liberated from the prison of suffering, but they are not separated from the afflictions of other places, nor are they completely liberated from suffering, in order to distinguish them, as before. It is also like this, these outsiders are thus liberated from the bonds of afflictions, and they are definitely liberated from the prison of birth, but they are not separated from it, just like cutting off the root of a lotus, the roots are still connected, because they are connected with sleep. Nor is it completely liberated, because it will return to that place again. In order to distinguish them, as before. Those people, at those times, because they do not truly understand themselves, have a mind of pride and inverted mind about the manifestation of liberation and so on, and abide many times, but the Blessed One does not have those, so the mind is not inverted. Therefore, the obscuration of afflictions
