What need is there to mention abandoning it? Therefore, one should recognize that this is extremely difficult to understand. Detailed classifications, such as the detailed classification of how consciousness arises, the detailed classification of death and rebirth, the detailed classification of the arising of external crops, the detailed classification of destruction and formation, the detailed classification of relying on food, the detailed classification of distinguishing destinations by likes and dislikes, the detailed classification of complete purification, and also the detailed classification by the power of strength, should be observed as detailed classifications. What is called the detailed classification of the arising of consciousness is, for example, relying on name and form, eye consciousness arises, and so on. What is called the detailed classification of death and rebirth is referring to the realm of sentient beings, with ignorance as the condition, actions arise, and so on. What is called the detailed classification of the arising of external crops is relying on seeds, sprouts arise; relying on sprouts, stems arise; similarly, it should be combined with stalks, leaves, flowers, and fruits. What is called the detailed classification of destruction and formation is that relying on the common karma of all sentient beings, the great earth and so on arise. What is called the detailed classification of relying on food is that relying on the four kinds of food, sentient beings abide in the three realms. What is called the detailed classification of distinguishing destinations by likes and dislikes is that relying on good conduct and bad conduct, one goes to happy realms and unhappy realms. What is called the detailed classification of complete purification is from relying on what is in accordance with the part of liberation, the part in accordance with the decisive discrimination arises, from the path of seeing and the path of cultivation, gradually attaining the state of an Arhat, and relying on the sound of others, properly attending in the mind, up to the right view and the exhaustion of all defilements. What is called the detailed classification by the power of strength is that relying on hearing, manifest realization and other special qualities arise. Therefore, one should extensively understand that the actions of these detailed classifications arise from their respective conditions.

How are accordance and non-accordance? Accordance with all defilements and non-accordance, as well as pure accordance and non-accordance, should also be observed as accordance and non-accordance arising from various causes. Accordance with all defilements and non-accordance refers to the order of arising, such as "Conditioned by ignorance are the formations," which shows accordance. Old age and death, the arising of old age and death, the cessation of old age and death, and the path leading to the cessation of old age and death, refer to the establishment of truth and should be known as showing non-accordance. Similarly, such as "With the cessation of ignorance, formations cease," shows pure accordance. "If there is not, old age and death do not arise, and if it ceases, old age and death cease," shows non-accordance and should be observed as arising from various causes. All realms of phenomena and sources of phenomena, except for one part of them. It is to abandon attachment to the appearance of a causeless self and a non-accordant cause. How are conditions? When are the conditions? Why should they be observed as conditions? Cause, immediate condition, object condition, and dominant condition should also be observed as conditions. Everything is a condition. It is to abandon attachment to the appearance of the cause of a self of phenomena. What is the cause of the cause? It is the consciousness of taking and the habit of virtue. They are the formations with outflows and without outflows, and the order. The consciousness of taking is also of two kinds: arising from maturation and arising from creation. Among them, that which arises from maturation is the cause of the cause of those obtained by birth. That which arises from creation is due to those arising from effort, and the consciousness of taking in the future should be observed as the cause of the cause of others. The consciousness of taking arising from creation should be known as the habituation of the habituated consciousness that practices the conduct of that life. The habit of virtue is a part of liberation.
