Because of anger towards subtle things, one becomes even more attached to samsara. One should regard its nature, what is related to it, what is bound by it, what follows it, what is in accordance with it, and what arises from its cause as poisonous. As many struggles as there are, so many poisons there are. This is to abandon the manifest clinging to oneself as having poison. How is it without poison? Those without poison are poison. Why consider it without poison? What is contrary to what is poisonous should be regarded as without poison. As many struggles as there are, so many poisons there are. This is to abandon the manifest clinging to oneself as being free from poison. How is it a basis for clinging? Those that are a basis for clinging are poison. Why consider it a basis for clinging? The essence is attachment, anger, and ignorance, relying on what to be particularly attached to the five objects of desire? Because it is the cause of being particularly attached to the five objects of desire, it is clinging. What kind of anger leads to greater attachment? It is anger towards what manifests. One should regard its nature, what is related to it, what is bound by it, what follows it, what is in accordance with it, and what arises from its cause as a basis for clinging. As many poisons as there are, so many bases for clinging there are. This is to abandon the manifest clinging to oneself as having clinging. How is it a basis for manifest arising? Those that are a basis for manifest arising are poison. Why consider it a basis for manifest arising? What is contrary to the basis of clinging should be regarded as a basis for manifest arising. As many non-poisons as there are, so many bases for manifest arising there will be. This is to abandon the manifest clinging to oneself as being free from clinging. How is it conditioned? Those that are conditioned are poison. Why consider it conditioned? Whatever has birth, destruction, abiding, and change should be regarded as conditioned. All except the realm of phenomena and one aspect of the sources of perception are conditioned. This is to abandon the manifest clinging to oneself as being impermanent. How is it unconditioned? Those that are unconditioned are poison. Why consider it unconditioned? What is contrary to what is conditioned should be regarded as unconditioned. It is the realm of phenomena and one aspect of the sources of perception. This is to abandon the manifest clinging to oneself as being permanent.

Therefore. Those that are not the aggregates of grasping, should they be called conditioned? Or should they be called unconditioned? It should not be called conditioned, nor should it be called unconditioned. Why is that? Because they are not manifestly accumulated by actions and afflictions. It should not be called conditioned, but because of the nature of things that manifestly turn towards and turn away as desired, it should also be understood as not unconditioned. Manifestly turning towards and turning away as desired is not possible for the unconditioned, because it is permanent. The Blessed One also said: "Conditioned and unconditioned, these are two," what was said like that? Because there is no difference between the conditioned and the unconditioned. By what meaning does the meaning that has become conditioned, that is not unconditioned. By what meaning does the meaning that becomes unconditioned, by that very meaning it is not conditioned, this principle should be observed here. Because of manifestly turning towards and turning away as desired, it should be called conditioned. Because it is not manifestly accumulated by actions and afflictions. It should be called unconditioned, and it is said that there is no difference between the two. How is it worldly? What are worldly things? Why are they designated as worldly? Because they are designated as the three realms, and those who attain the aftermath of transcendence, such appearances are also worldly. That which appears thus is the aspect belonging to the three realms. That which appears as suchness and so on is transcendent because it is not mixed. One aspect of the aggregates, and that which is gathered by the true path, and that which is attained afterwards, except for that which appears as transcendent. Those and except for the unconditioned, are the fifteen realms, and the ten sources, and the three realms, and one aspect of the two sources. In order to abandon the manifest clinging to self in the world. How is it transcendent? What are transcendent things? Why are they designated as transcendent? The antidote to the three realms, non-conceptualization, is transcendent, the inverted and the non-elaborate.

Because it is non-conceptual, it is because of non-conceptuality. The antidote to the three realms, non-conceptuality, is the path of the noble ones. Moreover, for the Hearers and Solitary Buddhas, it is the antidote to the four inversions such as permanence, so it is transcendent. Because of non-conceptualizing in an inverted way, it is non-conceptual. Bodhisattvas are the antidote to all phenomena of elaboration such as form, so they are transcendent. Because there is no conceptualization of elaboration, it is non-conceptual. The unconditioned is not the basis of all conceptualizations, so it is non-conceptual. Also, in terms of number, it is also the attainment after the transcendent, because it relies on the transcendent. Aggregates, the three realms, and one aspect of the twelve sources. In order to abandon the attachment to the self alone. How does it arise? When do things arise? Why do we examine what arises? What has arisen in the past and present is what has arisen. Everything is one aspect. In order to abandon the attachment to the non-permanent self. Also, there are twenty-four kinds of arising: first arising, continuous arising, arising from increase, dependent arising, change, arising from change, arising from complete maturation, arising from decay, arising from distinction, arising from light, arising from non-light, arising from universal going, arising from seeds, arising from non-seeds, image, power, arising for the sake of definite indication, arising from one to one, arising from one moment, arising from meeting and separation, arising in another state, arising from death and birth, arising from destruction and formation, arising in the past, arising at the time of death, arising in between, arising at the time of connection. Among them, the first arising is at the time of connection. Continuous arising is from then on. Arising from increase is from sleeping, food, celibacy, absorption, and from the cause of the four kinds of increase.
