In between, those who practice well are individual ordinary beings. The second is nihilistic views, etc. The third is the non-learner. The fourth is like the appearance of "other than those," etc. The gateway of reasoning refers to expressing meaning through six kinds of reasoning, namely, the reasoning of that very meaning, the reasoning of attainment, the reasoning of explanation, the reasoning of abandoning the two extremes, the reasoning of inconceivability, and the reasoning of intention. Among these six kinds of reasoning, the first three kinds of reasoning should be understood in sequence through the latter three kinds of reasoning. For example, in the sutra of tasting, monks, there is tasting in form, etc., which abandons the extreme of defamation and the extreme of superimposition, thereby revealing the reasoning of that very meaning. Tasting, as well as faults and definite departure, etc., abandon the extreme of defamation. From form to consciousness, this abandons the extreme of superimposition, showing that there is only affliction or transformation on the aggregates, and there is no self, thus excellently showing it. Monks, just as I have realized the unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, knowing inwardly, etc., this is fully revealed through the reasoning of seeing and the reasoning of inconceivability, thereby showing the seen that each individual should know for themselves. This entire sutra is the reasoning of explanation. It should also be understood through the reasoning of intention, that is, considering the objects to be fully known, the meanings to be fully known, as well as full knowledge and the result of full knowledge, this sutra is taught. Among them, the objects to be fully known are form, etc. The meaning to be fully known is tasting, etc. Because through that, in order to fully know the objects of form, etc. That full knowledge is the wisdom that realizes those five aggregates of clinging as they are, transforming them into three aspects. The result of full knowledge is from this world with the gods to between with the gods and humans, because of proceeding, so until complete liberation.

To know thus is to manifestly realize the unexcelled, perfectly complete enlightenment and to awaken into Buddhahood, which is called knowing within. The gates of completely knowing and so forth are: Where, starting from its own characteristics, the characteristic of completely knowing, the characteristic of abandoning, the characteristic of making manifest, the characteristic of meditating, and its own characteristics, etc., the characteristic of thoroughly distinguishing these aspects, the characteristic of the connection between place and dwelling, the characteristic of the Dharma that cuts off between completely knowing and so forth, the characteristic of conformity, not completely knowing and so forth, and the meaning is shown by the characteristic of faults and benefits in completely knowing and so forth. For example, it appears in the Sutra of Tasting, its own characteristic is included in the five aggregates of grasping, which is the truth of suffering. The characteristic of completely knowing is to know it itself as it truly is by tasting and so forth. The characteristic of abandoning and the characteristic of making manifest are liberation from all worlds, because of abandoning obscurations and making manifest what has become the place. The characteristic of meditation is to abide many times with a mind free from perversion. The characteristic of thorough distinction is that its own characteristic is divided into five types, from form to consciousness, and the characteristic of completely knowing is divided into three types, tasting in tasting, fault in fault, and truly knowing the determination to emerge between determinations to emerge. The characteristic of abandoning and the characteristic of making manifest are divided into two types: liberation from afflictions and liberation from suffering. Among them, the so-called liberation from the world with the gods, and even from beings with gods and humans, is because of liberation from afflictions. Therefore, in order to differentiate it, the determination to emerge is declared, and thus, what is the determination to emerge in other sutras? That is, here, subduing desire and attachment, abandoning desire and attachment, desire and attac
