Śintu Gnas. This is called being extremely abiding in perversions because of impermanence, etc., which are contrary to permanence, happiness, purity, and self, in order to not completely degenerate. Ñyonmongs Kün Nä Rab Ñyonmongs. This is called becoming very completely afflicted due to prolonged diligent effort. How does a Bodhisattva comprehend the Samadhi that is skilled in Dharma, with respect to the extremely vast? There are five ways: Destroying all places of suffering in every instant; Separating from various perceptions and obtaining joy in the Dharma; The appearance of Dharma, in various ways, is completely uninterrupted, and knowing it to be immeasurable and accurate in all places; In this, signs of non-discrimination, which are in accordance with purity, arise universally; Completing the Dharmakaya; And for the sake of complete accomplishment, holding the cause that is even higher than the higher. The benefits of these five benefits should be understood as the benefits of Shamatha, the benefits of Vipassana, and the benefits of both. Among them, the benefits of Shamatha are twofold: Because the extremely refined, which progresses moment by moment, continuously pervades the body; Destroying all places of suffering in every instant; And believing that all teachings of the doctrine are of one taste without distinction, by equally abiding, separating from the perception of different forms of things such as aggregates, thereby obtaining joy in the Dharma in the Sutras and other teachings. The benefits of Vipassana are also twofold: Thus, the Dharma that is thoroughly distinguished is continuously unspoken; Through the gate of individual mindfulness alone, the appearance of wisdom is completely uninterrupted in various ways in the Sutras and other teachings, and is immeasurable; And as a precursor to the transformation of the basis, signs of non-discrimination, which are not intentionally produced, arise universally. The benefits of both are the Dharmakaya, abandoning the obscurations of knowledge, encompassed by the transformation of the basis, to be completed on the tenth Bhumi; And for the sake of complete accomplishment on the Buddha-Bhumi, the way of generating similar habitual tendencies, which are the cause of the higher than the higher.

It enables complete retention of its cause. It has been correctly shown that if one meditates properly on which of those, one will achieve five kinds of results. What are the five meditations? They are the meditation on the extremely subdued sign, the meditation on non-difference, the meditation on signlessness, the meditation on non-action, and the meditation on complete nirvana. Why is it that the cause of the Dharmakaya is the same, but the extremely extensive Dharma should be offered with incense and powder, etc., while the Dharma of the Hearers is not so? Because the extremely extensive Dharma is the basis of benefit and happiness for all sentient beings. Because its meaning is great, it becomes the supreme field of merit. This is called the determination of Dharma, which is the third compilation. What is the determination of attainment? It should be understood as the establishment of persons and the establishment of realization. The determination of attainment is to be viewed as the establishment of persons who attain and the establishment of realization. Briefly, the difference in the conduct of persons is that although a person is not substantial, a person is established in four ways: for the sake of easily applying terms, for the sake of following the world, for the sake of not frightening the world, and for the sake of easily understanding self. How is it easy to apply terms? It is said that by combining the characteristics and names of many forms, such as form, into one entity, and designating it as a sentient being, one can easily apply terms such as "go." How is it to follow the world? It is said that in the world, not all terms are commonly known by the names of Dharma alone, but mostly by the names of sentient beings. In this way, one should undoubtedly conform to the majority of terms used by worldly people. How is it not to frighten the world? It is said that those who are not skilled in the nature of dependent origination will be frightened if they suddenly hear for the first time that there are no sentient beings at all. What is self like? It is said that one should establish a person in order to speak of the faults and qualities of others. Otherwise, without the designation of sentient beings, one cannot speak of the characteristics of affliction and purification.
