If one thinks like this: Those who enter and cause others to enter such a Dharma nature will accumulate immeasurable and boundless merit. Such two views are: the inverted view and the increasing view. When they start from these views and are asked by others, I am unwilling to admit anything, and the two views of asking others with evasive and refuting words are: the view of non-acceptance and the view of deceit. For these people, such arrogance will also arise: those who practice in this way believe that they are offering and serving the perfectly enlightened Bhagavan Buddhas, and these people's view is the respectful view. Those who are proficient in the non-inverted Dharma nature, when distinguishing these views, even if they convince people with extremely reasonable and well-known reasons, they still will not abandon any views, believing that only they are true and others are false, these are the views that show ignorance. As shown, the habits and bad situations of those views are the fundamental views. These seventeen views should also be declared again by pointing out the faults, like this: The view of clinging to characteristics is called the non-view of views, even if one clings to non-existent characteristics, it is because one has the concept of not clinging to all characteristics. The view of slandering examination, the view of slandering discrimination, and the view of slandering reality are the views of severing union, because slandering everything will become the concept of useless effort. The view of complete grasping and the view of transformation are uncertain views, because they are combined with non-methods, so no results will be obtained. The view that there is no fault and the view that it will inevitably arise are the views of obstacles, etc., because of wrong practice, obstacles cannot be exhausted. The view of contempt and the view of extreme confusion are the views of increasing non-merit, for the true Dharma and Brahmacharya.

It is in order to obtain great fame by means of perverse arguments. Perverted views and increasing views are views without fruit, because clinging to the separate establishment of non-true dharmata, and causing others to cling, does not obtain any distinction. Unacceptable views and evil deceitful views are views cut off by annihilation, because if one refutes with irrationality, it is impossible to win. Reverential views are slanderous views, because they impose fabrications on what is not said. The view of steadfast ignorance is a non-excuse view, because it clings to the manifest error, and prevents the saying of true words, because it is meaningless. The root view is a great view, because it causes all that later becomes a view to become very firm and expansive. All twenty-seven views are views of manifest pride, because they are defiled by non-true manifest pride. Therefore, in the same sutra, it is said after that, "Although they are seventeen, they become ten. Although they are ten, they become seventeen. Although they are twenty-seven, they become one. Although they are one, they become twenty-seven." What is the intention of what is said in the extremely vast place, "All dharmas are without self-nature"? Because they do not arise by themselves, do not have their own self, do not abide in their own self-nature, and are without characteristics like what is grasped by children. Among these, "without their own self-nature" means: without self-nature is without one's own self-nature, but it is not a negation of arising in dependence on conditions. What is called "without one's own self" means: in the self-nature, where those things previously arose, they cannot be produced there either, therefore they are separated from self-nature, so they are without self-nature. Those who have not seen the truth, just as children cling to the separate expression of the characteristics of the nature of dharmas through the power of habit, are separated from that self-nature that corresponds to the clinging of children, so they are without self-nature. Furthermore, for the nature of complete imputation, there is characteristic self-naturelessness, and for the dependent arising, there is birth self-naturelessness.
