Dwelling in mastery, the practice of the pāramitās is threefold: mastery over the body, mastery over conduct, and mastery over speech. Mastery over the body is to be viewed as the two bodies of the Thus-Gone One: Essence and perfect enjoyment. Among these, mastery over conduct is to be viewed as the emanation body. Through this, in accordance with all sentient beings, the Dharma is universally taught in all ways. Mastery over speech is the unimpeded teaching of the six pāramitās in all ways. Detailed distinctions are to be viewed as detailed distinctions of the six pāramitās based on the eighteen supports. The eighteen supports are: reliance on the body, reliance on the mind, reliance on virtue, reliance on happy migrations, reliance on enlightenment, reliance on compassion, reliance on not abandoning sentient beings, reliance on completely abandoning inferior thoughts, reliance on tolerance of unborn dharmas, reliance on association with virtuous aspects, reliance on truly accomplishing virtuous roots, reliance on inexhaustible virtuous roots, reliance on complete non-weariness of virtuous roots, reliance on the fulfillment of all wishes of the mind, reliance on accumulating collections, reliance on entering the ground, reliance on truly accomplishing the Buddha's Dharma, reliance on accomplishing the Buddha's deeds. Giving and so forth, in three forms, are to be understood as being gathered in order, three by three, through three different ways. Among these, the three givings are the giving of material things, the giving of fearlessness, and the giving of Dharma. The three disciplines are the discipline of vows, the discipline of gathering virtuous dharmas, and the discipline of benefiting sentient beings. The three patiences are the patience of not minding harm, the patience of accepting suffering, and the patience of definitely thinking about the Dharma. The three diligences are the diligence of armor, the diligence of application, and the diligence of doing what benefits sentient beings. The three meditations are the meditation of dwelling happily in the present Dharma, the meditation of manifesting direct knowledge, and the meditat

This is the meditation on benefiting sentient beings. The three wisdoms are: focusing on the conventional truth, focusing on the ultimate truth, and focusing on benefiting sentient beings. Among these, material giving relies on the body, because it helps the weary body with items such as food and drink. Fearless giving relies on the mind, in order to separate the mind from various unpleasant situations, and to practice the breathing of the mind. This should be applied similarly to other situations. An inferior mind refers to the mind of a Shravaka and Pratyekabuddha, which arises because a Bodhisattva is weary of the suffering of Samsara. Abandoning this mind relies on the patience of enduring suffering. Inexhaustible roots of virtue refer to making extra effort to benefit all sentient beings, therefore not abandoning Samsara until the end of Samsara, and not abandoning the realm of Nirvana without remainder. This relies on the diligence of benefiting sentient beings. Accumulating merit refers to relying on what has been obtained, in order to bring beings who have not yet achieved a state of mental equanimity into a state of mental equanimity, and in order to liberate beings who have already achieved a state of mental equanimity, by giving teachings and instructions. This is the great giving, and it relies on the meditation of benefiting sentient beings. Entering the Bhumi refers to entering the first Bhumi, the Joyful Land, through the explanation of prior interest in the Dharma, which perfects the accumulation of merit. This relies on the object of the conventional truth. The remaining parts have not been combined because they have already been well combined. A further distinction is seven types of giving: the fundamental giving refers to the giving Paramita of a Bodhisattva in the lineage stage, because giving is done relying solely on lineage. The received giving refers to the stage of generating the mind of enlightenment, because giving is done relying on correct aspirations. The subsequent giving refers to the stage of accomplishing the benefit of oneself and others. Giving without bad grasping refers to the stage of completely focusing on that meaning, because there is no bad grasping of attachment to conceptualizations of the giver, etc. Giving without complete grasping
