The thought of benefiting, the thought of being unsoiled, and the thought of virtue. Among these, the thought of the Bodhisattva's generosity being insatiable is: that the Bodhisattva in an instant fills worlds as numerous as the sands of the Ganges with the seven precious substances, and gives bodies as numerous as the sands of the Ganges to each sentient being. Similarly, in each instant, they give for kalpas as numerous as the sands of the Ganges, and just as they do for one sentient being, they bring all sentient beings to complete maturation in unsurpassed perfect enlightenment. In this way, even giving to them is not satisfying, and this is the Bodhisattva's thought of insatiable generosity. Whatever thought is like this is the Bodhisattva's thought of insatiable generosity in giving. Until dwelling at the heart of enlightenment, Bodhisattvas in this way pass on generosity one after another, without failing for even a moment, and without ever cutting off the lineage. Whatever thought is like this is the Bodhisattva's thought in giving. Thus, the Bodhisattva who takes hold of those sentient beings through generosity is exceedingly joyful, but those sentient beings who are taken hold of by that generosity are not the same. Whatever thought is like this is the Bodhisattva's joyful thought in giving. The Bodhisattva sees those sentient beings who are benefited by giving in this way as being of great benefit to themselves, and not that they are giving to them, because they are the cause of showing unsurpassed perfect enlightenment. Whatever thought is like this is the Bodhisattva's thought of benefiting in giving. Although the Bodhisattva manifestly accumulates the merit that comes from giving to sentient beings in this way, they do not expect a return or a mature benefit. Merely having this kind of thought is the Bodhisattva's thought of being without attachment when meditating on the perfection of giving. The Bodhisattva also abandons such a ripened result of abandoning the aggregates of giving,

Being happy that it belongs to sentient beings and not to myself. Sharing it with all sentient beings and dedicating it to the unexcelled, perfect enlightenment. Such a thought is the virtuous thought of a Bodhisattva in the meditation on the perfection of generosity. My thought of non-contentment of a Bodhisattva from meditating on the perfection of discipline to meditating on the perfection of wisdom is: If the body of a Bodhisattva becomes as many as the sands of the Ganges River, and the measure of life becomes as many kalpas as the sands of the Ganges River, and he is constantly impoverished by all necessities, and the three thousand great thousand worlds are completely filled with fire, even while performing the four activities, in one instant he meditates on the perfection of discipline, and in one instant he meditates on the perfection of wisdom. In this way, no matter how many aggregates of discipline and aggregates of wisdom there are, they are all encompassed by the aggregate of discipline that has attained the unexcelled, perfect enlightenment, and even though he meditates on that aggregate of wisdom, the non-contentment of a Bodhisattva is the thought of non-contentment with the perfection of discipline, and even meditating on the perfection of wisdom is the thought of non-contentment. The thought of a Bodhisattva being like this is the thought of non-contentment with meditating on the perfection of discipline, and even the thought of non-contentment with meditating on the perfection of wisdom. Until a Bodhisattva sits on the seat of the Bodhi tree, the meditation on the perfection of discipline continues one after another, and even the meditation on the perfection of wisdom continues one after another, without degenerating or ceasing, such a thought is the vast thought of a Bodhisattva meditating on the perfection of discipline and even meditating on the perfection of wisdom. Meditating on the perfection of discipline and even meditating on the perfection of wisdom, thereby sentient

Then, the Bodhisattva who is being taken care of is extremely happy, but it is not so for the sentient beings who are being taken care of. Such a thought, from cultivating the perfection of discipline to cultivating the perfection of wisdom, is the Bodhisattva's joyful mind. From cultivating the perfection of discipline to cultivating the perfection of wisdom, the Bodhisattva sees that sentient beings who benefit him are of great benefit to him, but he does not see it that way himself. Because they are the ones who teach the unexcelled, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Such a thought, from cultivating the perfection of discipline to cultivating the perfection of wisdom, is the Bodhisattva's mind of benefiting others. The Bodhisattva, having thus arisen from the perfection of discipline, and even having accumulated vast merit arising from the perfection of wisdom, does not desire to receive any benefit or fruition in return. Such a thought, from cultivating the perfection of discipline to cultivating the perfection of wisdom, is the Bodhisattva's mind without attachment. Therefore, the Bodhisattva rejoices in the fruition of the accumulation of merit arising from the cultivation of the perfection of discipline, and even from the cultivation of the perfection of wisdom, as belonging to all sentient beings, and not to himself. Together with all sentient beings, he completely dedicates it to the unexcelled, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Such a thought, from cultivating the perfection of discipline to cultivating the perfection of wisdom, is the Bodhisattva's virtuous mind. What is the perfection that abides in skillful means? There are three aspects: in order to individually discriminate, the three spheres are completely purified by the non-discriminating wisdom. This skillful means is for the sake of accomplishing all mental activities.
