Is the number of aggregates the same as the number of elements? Is the number of elements the same as the number of aggregates? This is called the second proposition. There are those that are the number of aggregates but not the number of elements, namely the aggregate of form and the aggregate of consciousness. Thus, all the characteristics of the aggregate of form or all the characteristics of the aggregate of consciousness do not become a single element. There are those that are the number of elements but not the number of aggregates, namely the element of dharma. The third proposition is where only the third proposition is shown. For example, Is the number of aggregates the same as the number of sense bases? Is the number of sense bases the same as the number of aggregates? This is called the third proposition. There are those that are the number of aggregates but not the number of sense bases, namely the aggregate of form. There are those that are the number of sense bases but not the number of aggregates, namely the sense base of dharma. There are those that are both the number of aggregates and the number of sense bases, namely the aggregate of consciousness and the sense base of mind. There is no number that is neither aggregates nor sense bases in aggregates and sense bases. The fourth proposition is where the four propositions are shown. For example, whoever possesses the eye faculty also possesses the ear faculty? Whoever possesses the ear faculty also possesses the eye faculty? This is called the fourth proposition. The first proposition is that the eye is born and not decayed, but is deaf. The second proposition is that the ear is born and not decayed, but is blind. The third proposition is that both the eye and the ear are born and not decayed. The fourth proposition is other than those forms. "It is so, it is so" means that when the question is answered affirmatively, it is said "It is so, it is so," which is a synonym for agreeing. For example, if asked, "Are all impermanent things conditioned? Are all conditioned things impermanent?" one should answer, "It is so." "Rejection" means rejecting with "no." For example, if someone asks, "Which truths include the formations other than the five aggregates?" one should reject by saying, "There are no formations other than the five aggregates." The determination of correct questions has eight aspects. What is shown by "what" is like this: who does not

If so, the Bodhisattva who has attained the Perfection of Wisdom. What is not observed? The nature of the object of grasping and the nature of the grasper. By what is it not observed? By the Perfection of Wisdom. For what reason is it not observed? In order to completely save all sentient beings and to attain the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. From what is it not observed? From pleasing the Buddhas, listening to the sacred Dharma, properly attending to it, and practicing the Dharma that is in accordance with the Dharma. From which is it not observed? From all Dharmas. Where is it not observed? From the stage of adhimukticarya (stage of aspirational conduct) up to the tenth bhumi. How many kinds are not observed? There are eleven kinds: arising and ceasing, not arising, becoming manifest, arising from the power of causes, arising from the power of friends, not observing all dharmas, not observing emptiness, having conceit with the thought 'I am,' not having conceit with the thought 'I am,' not accumulating collections, accumulating collections. These non-observations, whatever they may be, past, future, and present, internal and external, coarse and subtle, bad and good, distant and near, these should be viewed in a sequential manner. Just as 'what' is indicated, when 'how' is indicated, it is the same. Regarding this, what is not observed? What, by what, for what, from what, from which, where is it not observed, and how many are not observed. Furthermore, there are four paths of ascertainment, namely refuting, and so on. Among these, refuting is to eliminate the faults of another's position by saying, 'This is not good.' Establishing is to affirm one's own correct position by saying, 'This is good.' Cutting off is to give certainty to others who are generating doubt or to those who have not yet generated it. Causing to comprehend is to show the meaning to those who are confused about that meaning. Ascertainment of accomplishing actions is to accomplish the necessities such as the means of livelihood in the world. Entering.
