If it is named 'Abhidharmasamuccaya', it is because it is compiled through realization in a definitive way. Bodhisattvas truly realize and understand it, hence the term 'summary'. The term 'Samuccaya' is because it is from the Abhidharma Sutras, collecting all points of consideration. The term 'truly high and excellent place' is because it enables the attainment of Buddhahood in an unerring way. Commentary on the Abhidharmasamuccaya, composed by the great master Gyalwai Se (Victorious Son), is complete. It was translated, edited, and finalized by the Indian Abbot Jinamitra, Śīlendrabodhi, and the great translator, the monk Yeshe De.
