Having abandoned the all-pervading association that corresponds to the final part by the path of the past, and also abandoned the all-pervading association that corresponds to the upper part, it is also shown that the internal substance is completely abandoned. Because it is the time when cause and effect are exhausted, it should also be observed that this is the case. The opposite of this should be observed as distinguishing until it is completely exhausted. The door of distinguishing and establishing individuals is to show where it is said that this is said in the capacity of so many individuals. For example, like the one that comes from the Sutra of Water Transformation. That is said by making distinctions into two, three, and four individuals, namely, individual beings and those who see the truth. It should be observed that individual beings are divided into three and explained, namely, non-white, slightly white, and very white. Those who see the truth are divided into four, namely, the four who abide in the fruit, three of whom are learners, and one is a non-learner. The door of distinguishing and establishing distinctions is where the meaning of questions such as the four possibilities is stated. For example, in the Sutra of Impermanence, "Whoever sees this well, does he see all forms? Whoever sees all forms, does he see all well?" This is the four possibilities. The first possibility is to truly know and observe what should be known and abandoned without falsely imputing permanence, purity, happiness, and self to the four aggregates, such as feeling. The second possibility is to falsely impute permanence, purity, happiness, and self to form, and to truly know and observe what should not be known and should not be abandoned. The third possibility is to truly know and observe what should be known and abandoned without falsely imputing permanence, purity, happiness, and self to form. The fourth possibility is to falsely impute permanence, purity, happiness, and self to the four aggregates, such as feeling, and to truly know and observe what should not be known and should not be abandoned. Just as there are four possibilities for form, so too should it be widely applied to all such as feeling. Whatever should be done has been done, all of these

Is it said that one does not know of any other existence besides this? Does not knowing of any other existence besides this mean that everything has been done? And so on. Answer: There are four possibilities. The first possibility is the various ordinary individuals who practice well and are practicing until the end of their lives. The second possibility is those who hold to annihilationism, and so on. The third possibility is those who are beyond learning. The fourth possibility is those who do not belong to the above categories. It appears like this. The gate of principles refers to where the seeds of the six principles are explained, namely: the principle of its very meaning, the principle of attainment, the principle of explanation, the principle of abandoning the two extremes, the principle of being inconceivable, and the principle of intention. Among these six principles, the first three principles should be understood in order by the latter three principles. For example, in the "Tasting Sutra," it says, "Monks, there is tasting in form," and so on, which abandons the extreme of denigration and the extreme of superimposition, thereby showing the principle of its very meaning. Tasting, faults, and definite emergence abandon the extreme of denigration. From form to consciousness, this abandons the extreme of superimposition, thereby thoroughly showing that it is merely aggregates, either completely afflicted or completely purified, but there is no self. Monks, I have awakened to unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment, even understanding within, this is completely shown through the principle of attainment and the principle of being inconceivable, because it shows that one attains what one must realize for oneself. All these sutras are the principle of explanation. It should also be understood through the principle of intention, that is, considering the object to be completely known, the meaning to be completely known, complete knowledge, and the result to be completely known, thereby explaining these sutras. Among these, the object to be completely known is form, and so on. The meaning to be completely known is tasting, and so on, because it is through this way that the object of form, and so on, can be completely known. Complete knowledge refers to transforming the five aggregates of clinging into three like me.
