it will become so. That of those is called the conceptualization of accepting as permissible. There, it is called non-conceptual because all conceptualizations are cut off. The Hearers, as an antidote to the perverted notions of permanence, etc., regarding the aggregates, completely regard form, etc., as mere phenomena, and realize selflessness with transcendental wisdom. Therefore, that of those is called the non-perverted non-conceptual. The Bodhisattva recognizes that form, etc., are mere phenomena, and that is also elaboration, thereby destroying the characteristics of all phenomena. With transcendental wisdom, reaching the ultimate peace, he realizes that suchness pervades everything. Therefore, that of those is called the non-elaborative non-conceptual. If asked, how is it called the non-elaborative non-conceptual? If it is said that it is so called because there is no attention, then sleep and intoxication, etc., would also become non-conceptual, because they do not attend to the characteristics of phenomena. If it is said that it is so called because of true transcendence, then all meditations such as the second dhyana would also become non-conceptual, because they truly transcend the conceptualizations of investigation and analysis. Therefore, saying that "the nature of conceptualization is the mind and mental factors of the three realms" contradicts this. If it is said that it is so called because of complete pacification, then the cessation of perception and feeling would also become non-conceptual, because there the conceptualizations of mind and mental factors are completely pacified. Therefore, it will become without consciousness. If it is said that it is so called because of its nature, then form would also become non-conceptual, because it is the nature of non-conceptual. If it is said that it is so called because there is no manifest engagement with the object, then that which has conceptualization itself would become non-conceptual, because the manifest engagement of "this is non-conceptual" is the characteristic of conceptualizing on characteristics. Therefore, in those ways,

One should not regard conceptualization itself as the object, but rather regard the object without manifest activity as the object. How is it understood? When a Bodhisattva relies on the teachings that are in accordance with it, the characteristics of all dharmas are not truly established by their own nature, but are conceptualizations. By cultivating the power of this conceptualization, one's own self has no manifest activity, and one's mind is equally placed in the dharmadhatu without elaboration, which is the suchness of all dharmas. This is called non-conceptualization without elaboration. If it was previously said that the nature of a Bodhisattva is one with sharp faculties, then how should the faculties be tamed from time to time? It should be known that the faculties are tamed by diligently progressing from low to high in three ways, such as dull faculties of one's own lineage. Otherwise, if the faculties of those with sharp faculties all become one state, then the difference possessed by the faculties of Bodhisattvas will not be apparent. This is also for that purpose, so it is established as previously stated. The tenth chapter, the last chapter. Among the seven kinds of ascertainment discourses, the ascertainment of meaning should be known to originate from the meaning of self-nature and the other six meanings. Among them, the meaning of self-nature has three self-natures: the completely imputed nature, the dependent nature, and the thoroughly established nature. The meaning of cause has three causes: the cause of arising, which refers to the cause, the immediately preceding condition, the objective condition, and the dominant condition, because all conditioned phenomena are established by this. The cause of arising refers to the progression from "ignorance as the condition for actions" to "arising" and "cessation," whereby all afflictions and purification gradually arise. The cause of accomplishment is encompassed by metaphors that are the same as what is seen and unseen by direct perception, whereby the meaning that has not been proven is accomplished. The meaning of result has five results: the result of complete ripening, which refers to the alaya consciousness. The result of the corresponding cause, which refers to what is born of a coward.
