Therefore, for all the number of sentient beings' realms, to fully ripen them into the unexcelled, perfectly complete enlightenment, to give in this way yet never be satisfied, this is the Bodhisattva's thought of giving. Whatever thought is like this, this is the Bodhisattva's thought of never being satisfied with giving. Until abiding in the essence of enlightenment (the essence of Bodhicitta), the Bodhisattva gives in such a way, passing from one to the next, not diminishing even for an instant, and not interrupting the continuity. Whatever thought is like this, this is the Bodhisattva's vast thought of giving. Thus, the Bodhisattva, taking hold of those sentient beings with giving, is exceedingly joyful, but those sentient beings taken hold of by the giving are not like that. Whatever thought is like this, this is the Bodhisattva's joyful thought of giving. The Bodhisattva sees that those sentient beings who are benefited by giving in this way are of great benefit to oneself, and not that oneself is giving them benefit, because they are the cause for showing the unexcelled, perfectly complete enlightenment. Whatever thought is like this, this is the Bodhisattva's thought of benefiting through giving. The Bodhisattva, even though manifestly accumulating the vast merit arising from giving to sentient beings in this way, does not desire to accept benefit or the ripening result. Whatever thought is like this, this is the Bodhisattva's thought of being unattached when meditating on the perfection of giving. The Bodhisattva also manifestly rejoices that such a ripening of the vast aggregate of giving belongs to sentient beings, and not to oneself. Having made it common with all sentient beings, one completely dedicates it to the unexcelled, perfectly complete enlightenment. Whatever thought is like this, this is the Bodhisattva's virtuous thought when meditating on the perfection of giving. Therein, from meditating on the perfection of discipline to meditating on the perfection of wisdom, the Bodhisattva's thought of never being satisfied is: the Bodhisattva's body filled with as many as the sands of the Ganges,

Like a multitude, the measure of life becomes as many kalpas as the sands of the Ganges River, and is constantly afflicted by all necessities. When the realm of the three-thousand great-thousand world is completely filled with fire, one engages in four practices, meditating in a single instant from the perfection of discipline to the perfection of wisdom. In this way, one meditates on as many aggregates of discipline as there are, and as many aggregates as there are between wisdom, with which one manifestly attains the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Even if one meditates on the aggregates from discipline to wisdom, the bodhisattva's lack of satisfaction is the thought of not being satisfied with meditating on the perfection of discipline, to the thought of not being satisfied with meditating on the perfection of wisdom. This thought of the bodhisattva is the thought of not being satisfied with meditating on the perfection of discipline, to the thought of not being satisfied with meditating on the perfection of wisdom. Until the bodhisattva sits at the heart of the Bodhi tree, the meditation on the perfection of discipline is passed on one after another, and the meditation on the perfection of wisdom is passed on one after another, without diminishing it, and without interrupting it. This kind of thought is the bodhisattva's vast thought, from meditating on the perfection of discipline to meditating on the perfection of wisdom. From meditating on the perfection of discipline to meditating on the perfection of wisdom, the bodhisattva who subsequently takes hold of sentient beings is very happy, but those sentient beings who are subsequently taken hold of are not so. That kind of thought is the bodhisattva's joyful thought, from meditating on the perfection of discipline to meditating on the perfection of wisdom. From meditating on the perfection of discipline to meditating on the perfection of wisdom, those sentient beings who benefit him, the bodhisattva considers them to be very beneficial to himself.

It is not my possession that is seen by the eye. Those are for the sake of demonstrating the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment. Such a thought is the thought of benefiting sentient beings of a Bodhisattva, from meditating on the perfection of discipline to meditating on the perfection of wisdom. A Bodhisattva is like this: even if he manifestly accumulates vast merit arising from the perfection of discipline to the perfection of wisdom, he does not desire to be repaid or to ripen from it. Such a thought is the thought of a Bodhisattva without attachment, from meditating on the perfection of discipline to meditating on the perfection of wisdom. Therefore, the Bodhisattva rejoices that the accumulation of merit arising from meditating on the perfection of discipline to meditating on the perfection of wisdom is for the sake of all sentient beings, not for himself. Having shared it with all sentient beings, he completely dedicates it to the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment. Such a thought is the virtuous thought of a Bodhisattva, from meditating on the perfection of discipline to meditating on the perfection of wisdom. What is it to meditate on the perfections while abiding in skillful means? There are three aspects: for the sake of individual understanding, the three spheres are completely purified by non-conceptual wisdom. This skillful means is for the sake of manifestly accomplishing all mental activities. To meditate on the perfections while abiding in mastery has three aspects: mastery over the body, mastery over conduct, and mastery over speech. Mastery over the body should be regarded as the two bodies of the Thus-Gone One: the nature body and the enjoyment body. Mastery over conduct should be regarded as the emanation body, by which all kinds of conduct are shown to all sentient beings. Mastery over speech is the unobstructed explanation of the six perfections in all aspects. Differentiate well.
