Because its basis is the foundation of bliss that transcends the world. Becoming blissful is because there is an aim to attain it through the union of bliss. Being without illness is because it is free from afflictions and other obscurations. Being unmoving is because it is free from all distractions in the form of elaborations on objects. Transcending sorrow is because it is free from all perceptions such as form, and is the aim of abiding in peace and bliss. Furthermore, starting from the truth of cessation, the terms such as unborn are to be understood as the opposite of the characteristics of suffering. Suffering is birth, as it connects beings to this and that realm. After that, the body fully develops. That suffering, propelled by previous actions and afflictions, is the basis for future existence through present actions and afflictions. In a manner of continuous flow, the cycle of existence will arise again. The opposite of this is the noble truth of the cessation of suffering, which should be understood in order as unborn, unoriginated, unmade, unconditioned, and without birth. Furthermore, the four characteristics of the truth of cessation should be understood: the characteristic of cessation is considered in terms of being free from the cause of arising, which is afflictions. The characteristic of peace is considered in terms of being free from the five aggregates that are taken up by the nature of suffering of conditioning itself not being pacified. The characteristic of excellence is considered in terms of being the nature of self-purity and bliss, because it is free from afflictions and suffering. The characteristic of definiteness is considered in terms of the nature of permanence and benefit, which is non-retrogression, and benefit and bliss for the sake of bliss, in order. The truth of the path is that by which one fully understands the truth of suffering, and so on, and it should be understood that the indication of the characteristics of the truths is through the occasion of action here. The so-called five paths refer to the occasion of the five divisions. This division should also be understood through the occasion of the truth of the path and its retinue. Therefore

The path of accumulation is discipline and so on. When it is complete, one will see the truth through the stages of becoming warm, etc., and in order to eliminate the obstacles to it, one will obtain a suitable mind stream. The so-called "other virtues that have become the cause" should be understood as not regretting, etc. Becoming warm means that each person obtains the appearance of the truths, and is accompanied by samadhi equal to wisdom. The so-called "the Dharma made by the power of truth with a mind in equilibrium, such as the Sutra Pitaka, etc., through the expression of the mind, the calm abiding and insight that make the meaning appear, should be understood as becoming warm. Its increase is the peak, because it abides in any of its places. Patience is the samadhi that enters into one side and follows it. How does one enter into one side? Because of the patience without attachment. How does one follow one side? Because it abides in accordance with the conformity of non-attachment. The highest worldly dharma is the path that first transcends the world under it. The path of seeing should be understood as the nature of non-discriminating calm abiding and insight below the highest worldly dharma. The so-called "the object and the subject are equal, and equal knowledge is also the same," because it realizes the thusness of non-grasping and non-grasping. The so-called "the expression of sentient beings and dharmas is clear to each, and the expression of both is clear in all places, and knowing the object of knowledge is also the same," how is it that the expression of sentient beings is clear to each and the object of knowledge is known? Because of this, one does not discriminate the characteristics of the self in one's own mind stream. How is it that the expression of dharmas is clear to each and the object of knowledge is known? Because of this, one does not discriminate the characteristics of form, etc., in one's own mind stream. How is it that the expression of both is clear in all places and the object of knowledge is known? Because in all places, there is no difference in not discriminating the characteristics of self and dharma. Also, if the path of seeing is divided in detail, then the truths
