It is the same. Called "collected by friends": The aggregate of form is collected, relying on it, together with friends such as feeling, by the five aggregates. Similarly, feeling and so on, together with their retinue, are also collected separately by the five aggregates. Similarly, the realms and the sense bases together with their retinue should also be understood as being collected separately by all the realms and sense bases. Called "collected by one aspect": The aggregate of ethics is collected by one aspect of the aggregate of form. The aggregate of concentration and wisdom is collected by one aspect of the aggregate of formation. The realm of desire, the realm of harm, and the realm of violence are collected by one aspect of the realm of dharma. The sphere of infinite space and so on are collected by one aspect of the sphere of mind and dharma. Having done so, then in other sutras, whatever dharma is collected by the aggregates, realms, and sense bases, whatever is collected by any of them should be understood as being collected by one aspect. Called "collected by all": The five aggregates of suffering are collected by the five aggregates of appropriation. The realm of desire is collected by the eighteen realms. The sense base of non-perceptual beings is collected by the ten sense bases except for the sense bases of smell and taste. Having done so, then in other sutras, whatever dharma is collected by the aggregates, realms, and sense bases should be understood as being collected by all. Called "one collects one": The aggregates are collected separately by the realms and sense bases, and they are combined as appropriate. Similarly, the realms are also collected by the aggregates and sense bases, and the sense bases are also collected by the aggregates and realms, and should be understood extensively. Furthermore, the characteristic of collection should be viewed in six ways, in accordance with the collection by worldly fame. What are they? Collection by the basis of the ground, for example, people are collected by Jambudvipa. Wild animals are collected by solitary places, as it is said in the world.

And here also, one should understand that eye consciousness and so on are included by the eye and so on. Held by binding, just as ropes and so on bind firewood and other burdens, so the body binds the sense faculties such as the eyes. Held by agreement of meaning, just as people who agree on all needs rely on each other, so those that arise on the same object and are equally possessed also hold each other. Held by close grasping, just as a master completely possesses servants and so on, so the alaya-vijñana also holds the body. Held by non-separation, just as a water pot holds water, so samadhi holds the mind and mental factors other than itself. Held by manifest gathering, just as the ocean gathers rivers, so the form aggregate gathers the eyes and so on. Here, with regard to being held by manifest gathering, one should understand that there are eleven kinds of holding. The direction of the subtle particle is called all that has direction, and the form and so on that belong to one subtle particle should be understood as being without difference because they are in the same direction. The higher parts above the subtle particles are mixed, like the subtle particles of water and earth mixed together in muddy water. The assembled parts touch each other, like a lump of clay touching another lump of clay on a wall. Those that arise together and are equally possessed are the momentary aggregates and so on in one body. Those that are equally possessed by the accomplishment of an action are those who participate in the same need with each other. Those that are equally possessed by similar cognition are that the object of others is, but one's own object is not, such as the mind is not equally possessed with another mind, and feeling is not equally possessed with another feeling, and so on. Not two incompatible things, such as desire and hatred, virtue and non-virtue, and so on. Not two different times, such as the present and the future, the past and the present. Not two incompatible realms and grounds.
