The existence of joy, and especially intense craving, craving for self, craving for objects, craving for desire, craving for absorption, craving for suffering caused by wrong actions, craving for happiness caused by right actions, craving for the distant, craving for the near. The objects of these cravings should be combined in order with states such as the past. Furthermore, in other classifications, there are distinctions between what has arisen and what has not arisen, between the grasper and the grasped, between looking outward and looking inward, between the defiled and the undefiled, between the distant and the near, and the past, etc., how should they be understood appropriately. Among these, what has arisen refers to the past and present, and what has not arisen refers to the future. The grasper refers to the internal, and the grasped refers to the external. Looking outward refers to the state of not being in meditative equipoise, and looking inward refers to the state of being in meditative equipoise. The rest are not explained because they are easy to understand. Suffering is solely the characteristic of extreme increase, that is, the suffering of birth, etc., which arises in dependence on form, etc., will increase. Completely burdened by afflictions, that is, afflictions, etc., are completely defiled, relying on form, etc. For example, in the world, because the shoulder carries a burden, whichever part of the body carries the burden, that part is called the shoulder, and this is similar to that. The meaning of the seed of all dharmas refers to the aspect of the alaya consciousness as the cause, and the meaning of holding its own characteristics. Holding the things of cause and effect refers to the six consciousness realms among the eighteen realms, and the realms of the senses and objects, arranged in order. Holding and containing all aspects of dharmas, that is, the earth element, etc., mentioned in other sutras, and other realms, should also be understood as to how they can be appropriately included within these eighteen realms. The meaning of the seed and the meaning of containing all aspects of dharmas should also be understood as the meaning of the birthplace. Form etc. are like foam.
