It enables the attainment of wisdom. Accomplishing the great Bodhi, it is distinguished by three terms such as "extremely reasonable." Among them, "extremely reasonable" refers to the Great Vehicle of self-nature as the object of focus, which is the place of knowledge and the nature of knowledge, because it is not inverted. "Consistent" refers to the Great Vehicle of self-nature as the conduct, which is the six aspects such as entering into knowledge, because it is consistent with the result. "Non-contradictory" refers to the Great Vehicle of self-nature as the result, which is the nature of abandonment and the difference of wisdom, because it is not contradictory to the cause. Another situation is that the ten aspects are all included in the three self-natures, so there are extremely reasonable and so on due to the difference of the three self-natures. Among them, "extremely reasonable" is the completely established nature, because it is not contradictory to the valid cognition. "Consistent" is the other-dependent nature, because it is consistent with the extremely pure. "Non-contradictory" is the completely imputed nature, because it is not contradictory to the expression. Another situation is that all ten aspects have direct perception, so it is extremely reasonable. Because it has inference, it is consistent. Because it is not contradictory to the teachings of the Buddhas of the past, it is non-contradictory. Another situation is that because it has direct perception, inference, and teachings, it is extremely reasonable. Because it is consistent with the extremely pure, it is consistent. Because contradiction is the enemy of afflictions, it is non-contradictory. Another situation is that, in the case of the three truths, it is extremely reasonable from the perspective of the conventional truth. It is consistent from the perspective of the ultimate truth. It is non-contradictory from the perspective of the relative truth. Another situation is that the ten aspects being gathered by the first countless eon is extremely reasonable, because it is consistent with the higher ground. Being gathered by the second countless eon is consistent, because the higher intention is extremely pure. Being gathered by the third countless eon is non-contradictory, because it enters without effort. Another situation is that being gathered by the naturally abiding lineage is extremely reasonable.

That which is encompassed by the reasoning of our purification and attainment is conformity. That which is encompassed by the stage of fruition is non-contradiction. Herein, the order of these ten grounds has already been explained. Whatever is the nature of the object of focus, that is the cause, therefore it is explained first. The six, such as engaging with the knowable as it is focused upon, are the result of that, therefore they are later. The distinctions of abandonment and wisdom are the result of that, therefore even later. Among the objects of focus, there is also an order of earlier and later, because the state of the knowable is the cause. The characteristic of the knowable is the result. Among the six, such as engaging with the knowable, the first group of three is distinguished by the stage of the individual, therefore it is explained first. The nature of the second group's conduct depends on that, therefore it is explained later. Within the first group, the first two aspects are what is closely taken, therefore they are explained earlier. The third aspect is what should be closely taken, therefore it is later. Within the first two aspects, engaging with the knowable is the cause, therefore it is explained first. The second aspect is the result, therefore it is later. In practice, the order is according to the coarseness of the opposing factors. Thus, immoral discipline is very coarse because it is easy to examine. The antidote to that is higher discipline. Similarly, the antidote to coarse things like agitation and distraction is higher mental discipline. Similarly, because the seeds of affliction that follow are subtle, the antidote to that is higher wisdom. In another way, the training is in order according to the stages of the grounds. Thus, the second ground is distinguished by higher discipline, because the perfection of discipline is complete on that ground. The third ground is distinguished by higher mental discipline, because it abides in worldly meditation, samadhi, and absorption. The fourth ground and so on are distinguished by higher wisdom, because the aspects of enlightenment are well distinguished.
