DTG134 0005.A Concise Explanation Differentiating the Secret Meaning..g2.0f

English

The two are the conclusion of all six meanings. If there is an afflicted mind, it will arise together with the six consciousnesses in which self-grasping and the like arise, but it is not in accordance with them. If it is said that arising together is simultaneous arising, then it will also become corresponding, so it is said that it does not arise simultaneously in accordance with correspondence. Simultaneous arising is also different in instants, so it is said that simultaneous arising is simultaneous arising. The verses such as 'If there is no afflicted mind' summarize the meaning of the two verses that have been spoken. Non-duality means that ignorance is not mixed, and it is the same as the five. The three contradictions refer to the distinctions of meditative absorption, the definitive word, and the arising of self-grasping. Unmixed ignorance is impermanent and permanent. Impermanence is only in accordance with the consciousness of mind, because looking inward is independent. That is also only what is to be abandoned by seeing. Whatever is cited above to establish the afflicted mind is also what is to be abandoned by teaching and meditation. Now, it is shown by the verses spoken in the Dharma Abhidhamma Sutra. In order to strongly prove that the Great Vehicle is the word of the Buddha, the verses of the scattered Sutra Pitaka, 'Arising and ceasing together,' are not cited. Why? Because this does not directly show ignorance. There, reality is the meaning, it is the nature of the Four Noble Truths. The mind enters into focusing on that. Constantly becoming an obstacle is until the mind with outflows arises. According to the Vaibhashikas and Sutra masters, although it sometimes does not manifest, it is always arising because it has become an obstacle to true seeing through attainment and seeds.

It should be acknowledged as such. If it is said that attainment is reasonable because of the temporary manifestation of that, and also because there is no difference between the former and the latter, it is not an obstacle. How about the seed? Like this, not disappearing, it becomes an obstacle to seeing reality, and disappearing in the moment of forbearance of knowing the Dharma in suffering, it is not its obstacle. Therefore, for the learner, because there is the disappearance of the seed, just as seeing things on a cloudy sunny day, one sees the Dharma, and for the non-learner, because of abandonment, just as seeing things on a cloudless sunny day, one sees the Dharma. Or, ignorance itself, which is to be abandoned by seeing, manifests in the stage of affliction and in the stage of tainted virtue and indeterminate, and in the manner of seeds, it becomes an obstacle to seeing reality. When that ceases, just as light arises when darkness ceases, seeing reality arises. Therefore, do not examine other differences of ignorance. If it is said that that is unreasonable, because whatever is the nature of the obscuration of an unclear nature, that becomes an obstacle to seeing reality. The manifestation of darkness is the nature of obscuration, not the stage of seeds, because it has the same nature as external darkness. The seed of external darkness is known to be the cause of seeing obstacles. The seed, not disappearing and disappearing, acts on the production and non-production of its own fruit, but not on the production of obstacles of other kinds. Because the causes with equal capacity have not been accumulated, and because the accumulation itself has not fully increased, and because it is fully matured, just as seeing things on a cloudy and cloudless sunny day, the views of learners and non-learners see the Dharma, not because the seed has become an obstacle. Then, will the unwholesome seed, not fully grown and fully grown, from that itself become not seeing and seeing reality? That is not the case, because only the stage of ignorance universally arising is the cause of seeing obstacles, that has already been said. If there is no obstacle-maker, then, the small mind of tainted virtue

Because of seeing correctly, afflictions will cease. Therefore, ignorance that is constant and universally present should be acknowledged. Moreover, this is not without another consciousness, because in the state of virtue and neutral, that would be impossible to establish. Therefore, the afflicted mind is established. Because it is afflicted, and so on, because the affliction itself obscures the seeing of reality, it is obscured, just like the afflictions that exist in the form and formless realms, because it exists at all times. Existing at all times, this is not contradictory to the subtlety of looking inward. Because it does not contradict virtue, it is neutral, for example, the afflictions that exist in the form and formless realms are in accordance with calm abiding and insight, just like that neutral one. By the way, it has been completed. Therefore, in terms of the ordinary situation, the three bodies of mind are mentioned. From the perspective of doctrine, it is not the third itself, but it is from the perspective of explanation. Apart from the Alaya consciousness, this is said considering the uncommon reason for entering. The word "mind" expresses a meaning different from consciousness, because the words mind, intellect, and consciousness are one aspect of this. For example, like the proven intellect. For the same reason, intellect also expresses a different meaning, just like consciousness. Alaya consciousness If it is established, what is the need for that? Therefore, it is said that from that all-seed, mind and consciousness arise. Now, by accumulating the seeds of the habits of Dharma and so on, that uncommon reason is shown. Diversity and mind are not uncommon, so there is no close arrangement, when the word "mind" is used for mind and mental events and things that are not associated with mind and so on, then it relies on common causes. And why again, this is showing the uncommon category of Mahayana. Knowing
