In the Sutra, it says: Sometimes it is one, that is, when it says "mind." Sometimes it is two, that is, because it says "mind and mind-consciousness." If at that time the transformation also becomes something that is not mind, then this will also become something that is not mind. It is said that sometimes it is one, that is, when it says "mind-consciousness." Furthermore, when words like "hundred" are used with "etc.," the collection of consciousnesses depends on the object, because beings do not approach it, so it is said to "constantly hold." If this is reasonable, then how long does the mind revolve in samsara, and how can the Alaya-consciousness, which is of the same kind and close to the object, constantly hold? Some say that the mind is without outflows at that time. Thus, whoever is afflicted, because they enter the noble path, does not constantly arise, but is established as the state of a seed. The outflowless arises from its own nature since beginningless time, just like the noble path that directly realizes selflessness, together with the Alaya-consciousness. Moreover, when the mind with outflows manifests from arising from the outflowless, any undifferentiated afflictions will arise. However, in the state of a learner, because the seeds have been destroyed, if there is no afflicted mind at any time, then only the outflowless arises. Therefore, an Arhat acts on all things and is extremely peaceful. Some say that it has outflows, thus, because it has two abilities, it is called "wave." Just like the ignorance that arises from simultaneously seeing the obstacles of the two selflessnesses, relying on it, just like discriminating the shape of a snake on a rope, the view that corresponds to the afflicted mind simultaneously discriminates between phenomena and persons. If the supramundane path arises, then, because the noble Hearer-person sees selflessness, there is no superimposition on persons, the mind is not clear about phenomena, and it corresponds to the nature of superimposition, ignorance, and view. The non-afflicted mind is also the fruit of the Hearer.

In order not to disturb the ground, in order to be the cause of the fruit of desire, and in order to attain Nirvana, it is not virtuous because it is not the ultimate truth. Furthermore, even if it is born from karma, it is said to be born from maturation because it is not obscured by the very fact that it is not suitable for a practitioner or an emanation, and it is not predicted. Because it arises and ceases together with the outflows, and arises through the complete growth of its own seeds, it is with outflows. Non-afflicted dharmas also possess attachment and pride in the same way. Therefore, some noble hearers show behavior like that arising from afflictions, which is called habit. However, if a Bodhisattva is one who is completely dedicated to Bodhi or has a definite lineage, then at that time only the uncontaminated, in which the two selflessnesses are manifest, will arise. The basis of co-emergence: According to the Vaibhashika school, the word "co-emergence" should be explained as simultaneous. According to the Sutra school, it is immediately after, like "being together with love." In any case, whether simultaneous or immediately after, just as the basis of arising of the eye and so on is a unique co-emergence, so too is the mind consciousness the same, this is the concluding remark. There will also be the fault of not having a definite word, this is a refutation. The true definite word that others acknowledge is not suitable for the entering consciousnesses, but it is suitable for the afflicted mind, which has been shown above. The cessation and non-conceptual samadhi are the cessation samadhi and the non-conceptual samadhi. Some believe that the self-nature of the difference that is ceased by individual examination is merely the non-arising of mind and mental factors. Some consider it to be without mind. Some consider it to be the mind and mental factors that are relied upon, and the habits caused by the mind and mental factors entering into samadhi at the time of cessation, because awakening is also in accordance with it, therefore it is...
