The unplayed instruments blaze due to the power of the beings born there. Sounds arise. Similarly, the deeds of the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, also occur without any conceptualization of sentient beings, etc., but naturally produce various benefits just as they tame. The profundity of this non-conceptualization is explained. How is it explained? Regarding this thing called "other-powered non-conceptual wisdom," does it point to conceptualization? Or is it different from conceptualization? Similarly, is it knowledge? Or is it non-knowledge? What does this do? If the other-powered points to conceptualization, how can it become non-conceptual? If it is said to be something different from it, then it does not exist at all. If it is non-knowledge, then how should non-conceptual wisdom be called? If it is knowledge, then it also needs to have its object of knowledge, so in every way it will be a fault. To this, the answer is given by "not that, nor other." In short, because it is non-conceptual, it is not reasonable to say that "other-powered" refers to conceptualization. Because it is impossible for what points to conceptualization to be non-conceptual. It is also not something different from it, because it points to the very nature of conceptualization itself. Nature cannot be described as "identical to this" or "different from this." Wisdom also cannot be described as pointing to conceptualization or non-conceptualization. It is also not knowledge like that which arises from union or is subsequently obtained, because it is non-conceptual. It is also not non-knowledge, because the knowledge that arises from union precedes it. That which knows and is not different, The knowing itself is non-conceptual. This refers to the fact that because the distinction between the grasped and the grasper is completely cut off, there is no difference between "this is knowledge" and "this is the object of knowledge." Whatever is not different from the object of knowledge, that is the non-conceptual nature of wisdom. Whatever is not different from the object of knowledge is like space and appearance. By saying "because there is nothing to be distinguished," it shows what appears in other sutra sections as "all dharmas are naturally non-conceptual," because there is nothing to be distinguished.

Because all discriminations are meaningless, the sutras say that by nature there is no discrimination. If all dharmas are by nature non-discriminating, then there is no need to strive for this, so why are all sentient beings not liberated? It is because they have not generated the wisdom that directly realizes that these dharmas are such and such. Because there is nothing that can be made permanent, bodhisattvas generate that wisdom. Therefore, only they are liberated, and others are not. Because of the differences caused by karma arising from causes, projections, and habits. Therefore, through "arising from combination," etc., three forms are also shown separately for each. Some kinds are like this: whatever finds a condition and quickly arises from the combination with it, arises from that kind of birth. A kind is the six sense bases from beginningless time, which are differentiated and become vessels for the Buddha. Whoever has a previous cause will arise by the power of projection habituated in previous lives. Some arise by the power of the effort of a person habituated in the present life. Non-discrimination because of contentment is non-discrimination because of contentment, because one is content with little, one does not discriminate higher qualities. For example, worldly people's wisdom arising from hearing and thinking, having faith, certainty, or meditation on certain things, thereby obtaining up to the peak of existence and then declining, because they cling to that as liberation. Non-discrimination by non-perversion is the state of noble hearers. They take as their object the four aspects of non-perversion of the truths of suffering, etc., such as impermanence, etc., of the wisdom arising from meditation.

It is because it transcends knowledge. That which is called "proliferation" and so on is conventional truth, which is encompassed by hair and the knowledge of worldly people. Because that does not exist, it is truly without proliferation. The aspects that are attained after that are five in number: conception, recollection, imputation, and so on, because the results are different. The word "examination" is connected with each one. Among them, to examine conception is to realize and ascertain that alone. In meditative absorption, having attained after that, one examines each one individually, saying, "This is like that." To examine recollection after that is to recollect the conception, saying, "After that, I realized it in this way." To examine imputation is to speak to others as one has realized it. To examine mixture is to focus on all phenomena by gathering them together. Who transforms the place? After the place has been transformed, to examine what should be accomplished is that whatever is thought by one who has manifest wisdom will be accomplished. Therefore, he can transform even earth and so on into gold and so on. Here, "examination" is considered to be the word for knowledge. Because there is nothing to be conceptualized, it is said to be non-conceptual. If so, what is the meaning of not being able to conceptualize? Without that, it is established by verses, such as: "Pretas, animals, humans, etc." For those who have the thought of water, pretas see pus. For those who have the thought of impurity, animals have the thought of food. For those who have the thought of purity, humans have the thought of impurity. For those who have the thought of food, the gods see impurity. Since contradictory things cannot exist in one, there is no meaning in imputation. If it does not exist, how does knowledge without an object arise? What question is there about this? According to your view as a Sutra follower, how does knowledge without an object arise for the past and future? Even in dreams, it is the knowledge of dreams while sleeping in a small, bad house.
