It is to show those manifestations without interruption. Manifestation is constant because of the need to truly and repeatedly show it. It is like saying constantly giving food. For example, although it is not constantly giving food, but in order to give repeatedly, considering it is easy to obtain, just like saying constantly giving food, the manifestation body is also the same, although it does not have birth and death so it is not constant, but like taming, it truly and repeatedly shows. Because it is easy to obtain, it is said to be constant. In order to have no desire for Nirvana, it is to show the necessity of completely liberating from Nirvana. If one thinks the Tathagata is constant, one will pursue the constant body of the Buddha, because one will not tend towards Nirvana, so if the Blessed One shows that, one will have desire for that. For those who have not comprehended the profound Dharma, if the Buddha dwells in the world, they will think this is constant. For comprehending the profound Dharma, they will not make effort, even if they have not comprehended, they will think they will realize it one day. If one repeatedly asks or holds on, contempt will arise, if I have understood it wrongly, they will say that person said that. If one does not dwell in the world, contempt will not arise. We have not comprehended that meaning, if the Blessed One has not completely liberated from Nirvana, who can make us comprehend? One will strive to realize the Dharma. The so-called not seeing the teacher, if the Blessed One has completely liberated from Nirvana, we will also abide in diligence, thinking that for the sentient beings without a teacher, we should obtain a teacher. Otherwise, the Blessed One is the teacher, the protector of sentient beings, one will not make effort. Each one does not abandon diligence, it is to completely avoid abandoning the diligence that has already begun, thinking that as long as the Blessed One dwells in the world, one must completely mature the roots of virtue. The verses summarizing the six causes as shown before are, in order to make the work complete, etc. If the Buddha with Dharmakaya

I have nothing at all, what is the use of striving for this? When it is recognized that someone refutes in this way, it is said that the Dharmakaya of the Buddhas, from beginningless time, etc. Some people think like this: a single Buddha alone practices to accomplish the needs of all sentient beings, so what is the use of actually striving? In order to dispel this thought, it is said, "If attaining Buddhahood is without difference, immeasurable," etc. If, for the Dharmakaya, attaining Buddhahood is without difference at all times, and striving for Buddhahood becomes a cause of regression, then attaining Buddhahood will always arise from no cause. In that case, those previous Buddhas would also become Buddhas without effort, which would be absurd. If they do not wish to arise from no cause, then cutting off the continuity of causes is not reasonable. Attaining Buddhahood is without difference at all times, and will not become a cause of regression of effort. This treatise was composed by the one without inherent existence, aspiring to Buddhahood, with wisdom purified by scripture and reason, and with a mind subdued by compassion. For this profound Mahayana, the mind is not in equipoise, and now only a part is seen. What is the value of my kind of conceptualization? However, relying on the tenets, with the habituation of virtue as a guide, may all beings in the world, through merit, attain omniscience. The commentary on the Compendium of the Mahayana, composed by the Acharya, virtuous friend, and monk Without Inherent Existence, who understood the nature of all phenomena as illusory, is now complete. The Indian Abbot Jinamitra and Shīlendrabodhi, and the translator and reviser Pandit Yeshe De, translated, revised, and finalized it. The monk Pal Tseg revised and finalized it. There are two thousand seven hundred and seventy-four shlokas in this. It is divided into seven volumes. Commentary on the Compendium of the Mahayana, Without Inherent Existence.
