If it is like that, then it will not become wisdom, because it is produced from the elements. The so-called "focusing on that sole meaning" and so on, if the non-conceptual focusing on the manifestation of that sole meaning occurs, then if that which manifests is non-conceptual, then it will not be established as non-conceptual, because focusing on manifestation itself is conceptual. These five modes themselves are prevented by the three root verses, and then the nature of non-conceptual wisdom is shown by the fourth root, that is, "there is no grasping of manifestation in the true meaning," which is a synonym for "the nature of not grasping manifestation." Like this, in order to abide, it is said in verse, "The wisdom of the Bodhisattvas, does not abide in conceptualization," and so on, because wisdom arises from the mind, so the mind becomes the place. It is not permissible for the mind to be the place and to be non-conceptual, because the sound of the mind arises from the cause of the mind. If the place without mind is the place, then it will not become wisdom, like form, if it is said like that, then this rope of double negation is answered by half a verse. "Not thinking of meaning, because it arises from cause," that is, the place of non-conceptualization is not the mind, because in this way there is no thinking of meaning. That which is without mind is also not its place, because it arises from the cause of the mind. Like this, that arises from the cause of the mind, and through the power of meditation, the state where one obtains the place that is completely beyond the conceptualization of mind and no-mind is called the place. "Base" means cause, that is, the operative cause. Considering that, it is said, "Hearing habit with expression." That which is heard from other sounds, because it is to be heard, is hearing, not the other. Because one is accustomed to that, the special ability is habit, and the mental expression that arises from that cause is attention. That "as it should be" means reason, it is a synonym for "completely purified." Because it has an object, it shows the object of wisdom, that is, "The wisdom of the Bodhisattvas, the object of non-conceptualization is."
