Difficult and hard to understand, it is the storehouse of all afflictive dharmas' habits - the Alaya-vijñāna. "Just as a great medicine dispels poison," is an easily understood speculative statement. This verse indicates the path of meditation. "The Sugata's well-spoken, well-established Dharma," refers to the beautiful Dharma spoken by the Sugata, wonderfully established. "Root Dharmadhātu" refers to the brevity of words. "Root" refers to the tenth bhūmi, because it is the mother of all sūtra collections. Its dharmas are which dharmas merge into it. The dharmadhātu of these dharmas is emptiness, and upon this, mindfulness is established by subsequent wisdom. "The stream of mindfulness knows only discrimination," means that the stream of mindfulness merges into the root dharmadhātu. Knowing it to be only discrimination means that at the time of mindfulness, there is no ultimate word of Dharma, that is, by remembering the sūtra collections and other dharmas, remembering everything including the fruits of the pāramitās, because they do not exist in the nature of parikalpita. With this order of Abhisamaya, with the two, non-discrimination and subsequent attainment, one steadily and quickly reaches the other shore of the ocean of qualities. It means that the state of complete perfection of all qualities - Buddhahood - is attained. As it is said: "At the time of manifest enlightenment, how did you instantly acquire those infinite qualities, like birds perching on a tree?" "Steady" refers to what is held by non-discrimination and its subsequent attainment. Who is that? Bodhisattva should be added. "Quickly" means swiftly. If it is said that the time of three great asamkhyeya kalpas is long, how can it be said to be quick? Because everything is only discrimination, it is not so. As it is said in the observation of the three times: "In a dream, a year is but a moment, and can also be visualized, therefore countless times can also merge into a moment." As it is said. Again, diligently practice, as it is said: "For the sake of good, a short time seems long to those who are lazy, you who are diligent

Like saying, "Even immeasurable time passes quickly." Fifth Chapter. The cause for entering into mere consciousness is the six perfections. When combined, it is worldly. These should be taught. Here, a Bodhisattva's non-attachment to enjoyments is called the perfection of generosity. Attachment is the opposite of giving, which is attachment, that is, distraction. The same should be said in the following. The absence of transgression in ethics is called the perfection of ethics. Transgression is distraction. The absence of disturbance in suffering is called the perfection of patience. Disturbance is distraction. The absence of laziness in meditation is called the perfection of diligence. Laziness is distraction. Not entering into these causes of distraction means not entering into the causes of distraction that are contrary, because they have been completely abandoned. Having made the mind one-pointed, that is, having placed the mind in equanimity, is the perfection of meditation. Thoroughly and correctly distinguishing phenomena is the perfection of wisdom. Through these six perfections, one can enter into mere consciousness. Having entered, one obtains the six perfections that have become the fruit, which are completely grasped by the purity of higher intention. Thus, although there is no constant practice of these six perfections, by constantly and continuously cultivating the six perfections, one will become complete. If this Bodhisattva does not practice the perfection of ethics, will he not break his vows? No, because he only slightly does not practice. If one does not practice ethics, this fault will occur. Because one only slightly does not practice, there is no fault. Thus, because one practices by believing in the doctrine, etc., there is no fault. Among them, believing in the doctrine means having faith even in the profound doctrines that are fully endowed with perfections. Tasting the flavor and paying attention means

Seeing those who have crossed over as virtuous. Rejoicing in mindfulness is to rejoice greatly for the sake of others or oneself in those who have crossed over, whether they dwell in others or dwell in oneself. Mindfulness of manifest joy is to constantly wish to become particularly sublime and not to be separated from it. Pure higher intention should be expressed through accumulation and patience, as well as object and mindfulness, as well as antidote and nature, as well as sign and benefit. Among them, in the stage of practice by faith, it is for the sake of accumulating merit well, that is, "all the white dharmas are complete," which is in terms of accumulation. The phrase "attaining sharp patience" means abandoning the small and the medium, and entering into great patience of certain discernment of the Dharma, which is in terms of patience. The phrase "one's own vehicle," etc., is the object, profound is the meaning of subtle, which is the selflessness of Dharma. Vast is having power, which is the samadhi of the treasury of space, etc. Because of realizing only as conceptualization. This phrase is in terms of mindfulness, because all dharmas are known only as conceptualization. For the sake of attaining non-conceptual wisdom. This phrase is the antidote. Desire and faith are good. This phrase is in terms of nature, because it is the nature of faith and aspiration. Also in the previous Dharma stream. Because the Buddhas are seen. This phrase is in terms of sign. In whose previous? In the previous of purity. The phrase "Dharma stream" is shown as samadhi itself. The phrase "there" refers to samadhi, and the Buddhas are seen by samadhi. Because of seeing them, one is close to realizing enlightenment. Although close to realization, in order to dispel the thought of whether it is attained with great difficulty, it is said: Because it is attained without difficulty. This is the benefit. That state is enlightenment by obtaining the means to obtain it.
