It is the continuous habituation of mind and mental factors, because without much hearing, there is no direct realization. For example, the noble Rāhula asked the Blessed One: "Blessed One, for the sake of my direct realization, please grant me instruction." The Blessed One instructed: "Rāhula, have you grasped the aggregates?" He replied: "Blessed One, I have not grasped them." The Blessed One instructed: "Rāhula, since that is the case, then grasp the aggregates even more! Completely understand them!" and so on. Saying "not included by the ālaya-vijñāna (藏文:ཀུན་གཞི་རྣམ་པར་ཤེས་པ་,梵文天城体:आलयविज्ञान,梵文罗马拟音:ālayavijñāna,汉语字面意思:阿赖耶识)" is because it is the homogeneous cause of the extremely pure dharmadhātu (藏文:ཆོས་ཀྱི་དབྱིངས་,梵文天城体:धर्मधातु,梵文罗马拟音:dharmadhātu,汉语字面意思:法界), and because it is its antidote. It is not its nature, because it is contradictory, it is not included by it. Saying "like the ālaya-vijñāna (藏文:ཀུན་གཞི་རྣམ་པར་ཤེས་པ་,梵文天城体:आलयविज्ञान,梵文罗马拟音:ālayavijñāna,汉语字面意思:阿赖耶识) is a seed" means that just as the ālaya-vijñāna (藏文:ཀུན་གཞི་རྣམ་པར་ཤེས་པ་,梵文天城体:आलयविज्ञान,梵文罗马拟音:ālayavijñāna,汉语字面意思:阿赖耶识) is the cause of all defiled dharmas, this place is also the cause of all purified dharmas, only the example is consistent in the substance of the cause, but it is not otherwise. Dharma refers to sutras and so on. Meaning refers to the selflessness and so on that these sutras and so on are to express. These are the aspects of its manifestation, therefore they are the aspects of manifestation arising. Saying "like the place of the object of grasping" is because it appears similar to it. Saying "together with seeing" refers to being together with ear consciousness. Saying "the expressions of mind" refers to the mental consciousnesses. Or it refers to the distinctions made of the object of grasping and the object of grasping with the part of seeing, as previously explained. Asking "who enters?" refers to the one who enters, the one who directly realizes, the questioning and discussion with reason. "The mind stream is habituated by hearing much of the Mahāyāna dharma" and so on, pleasing the immeasurable Buddhas is to make manifest, because one obtains it by this, therefore it is a synonym for obtaining the manifestation of immeasurable Buddhas. Saying "having single faith" refers to one who has great faith in the Mahāyāna dharma, and cannot be separated by any bad friend. Heard much of the Mahāyāna.

Etc., these three ways. In order to accumulate roots of virtue well, Bodhisattvas accumulate the accumulations of merit and wisdom well. If asked where to enter, this is because the question is raised with great emphasis on distinguishing by place. The Dharma with views, etc., the cause of the Mahayana Dharma is that the expression of the entrant's mind arising from it, because it is the place to be entered, is intended to be spoken of as the basis. Entering that expression of mind, some enter the stage of adhimukticarya (practice of faith), because they believe that all dharmas are only consciousness just by hearing. Some enter the path of seeing, because they thoroughly realize the expression of mind as it is. Among them, thoroughly realizing as it is is like this: Like this, thoroughly realizing that there are no sentient beings, no dharmas, no grasped objects, and no grasping subjects. Some enter the path of meditation, because by meditating as the antidote to all afflictions and cognitive obscurations, those are completely purified. Some enter the ultimate path, because there are no obscurations. Thus, there are four kinds of thorough realization. If asked by what to enter, this is completely asking the cause, just like asking by what method to enter. It is indicated by generating the power of the roots of virtue, etc. Even if one has become a person with the power of the roots of virtue, one also thinks that there may be discouragement, so it is said to tame the mind in three ways. The immeasurable and countless realms of the world, etc., is the first taming of the mind. Saying is to clarify, it has already been clarified by the explanation. Obtaining that thought means without obstacles. Because he has no stinginess, no discrimination towards desires, no harmful thoughts, no laziness, no sleep and drowsiness, no ignorance, therefore, with a little effort, the six perfections will be completely cultivated. This is the second taming of the mind. If one obtains a special thought, then generosity, etc., naturally
