That which is called "focusing solely on universal conceptualization without its own characteristics" means that because of the appearance of the aspects of those who can arise in relation to the absence of self and dharmas, it is called universally conceptualized. That which does not change is to be known as completely accomplished because it is completely accomplished without change. That which is completely pure is said to be completely accomplished by being the object and the best of all virtuous dharmas. Again, "There is universal conceptualization," etc., examines universal conceptualization. Consciousness is universal conceptualization, because it has distinctions. That which is called "arising from the seed of self-expression" is the consciousness of the mind, the consciousness of the mind, which is spoken of in the beginningless cycle, and its habit is the seed of this. That which is called "arising from the seed of the habit of expression of all consciousness" is that consciousness, such as form, which appears infinitely, arises from the cause of the habit of expression, because it is the nature of appearing there. Therefore, consciousness arises from all kinds of infinite distinctions. That which is called "the nature of dependence on others is to be universally conceptualized" is one aspect of it, the eye, etc., becomes the object. That which is called "In whatever aspect the nature of dependence on others is universally conceptualized, that is the nature of its universal conceptualization" shows the universal conceptualization that has become the cause. That which is called "How does universal conceptualization universally conceptualize?" is asked about the differences in aspects, and shows the differences in universal conceptualization. That which is called "focusing on names" means that after hearing the name of Lhasbyin (Devadatta), etc., one universally conceptualizes the meaning, but if one has not heard the name, one cannot distinguish the meaning. That which is called "grasping the characteristics of the nature of dependence on others, such as the body" is a synonym for being attached to one's own characteristics. Grasping the characteristics is attention, and as it becomes attention, so it is subsequently named. Again, the nature of dependence on others, such as the eye, etc.

Lao! It is the way to engage in definitely ascertaining the five views. Among them, the so-called "manifest clinging" is because it takes characteristics as the reason for manifest clinging, that is, by virtue of manifest clinging to characteristics. From the meaning of definitely examining with views, when one wants to manifest clinging to "this is so" and show it to others, thoughts and considerations arouse speech from all aspects, just as it is said, "Without thinking and considering, do not speak words." The so-called "seeing, etc." refers to the four different terms of seeing, hearing, distinguishing, and consciousness. For example, when focusing on the name of an illusion, the characteristics of the illusion on the rope, such as crookedness, etc., are regarded as characteristics, and because one manifests clinging to this and shows it to others, one says, "I see the illusion," which is similar to this. The so-called "also not different" is because of the existence and non-existence of the imputed and the other-powered. The existence arising from existence itself is not other, just as non-existent things such as rabbit horns are not other things arising from existence. The so-called "also not non-different" is because existence and non-existence cannot become one, and similarly, the other-powered and the perfectly established are also because they have the nature of self-nature purity and impurity. Here, relying on the categories of intention, these can become one, or they can become many, so the other-powered itself is shown as the imputed by category, because it is the cause of universal thought, and the imputed arises from this. The so-called "the cause of universal thought, and the imputed arises from this" means that, for example, I and form, etc., are the basis of the imputed, and the so-called universal thought refers to the consciousness universally thinking about things such as I and form, etc., so it is called the imputed by that intention. The so-called "through category, it itself is perfectly established" is because how appearances ultimately do not exist. The so-called "the other-powered of the seeds of habit" is because it depends on the cause, so it is other-powered. The so-called "the completely unestablished nature of defilement and purification is other-powered" means that, for example, when discriminating observation is performed, it becomes defiled. Not discriminating observation
