Then, to accomplish is to accomplish the great Bodhi, which is the meaning of the word "cause." "Extremely reasonable" refers to the reason for the path that is shown closely after being measured by valid means such as reasoning, which are the ten kinds of reasons. "Conformity" refers to the combination with realization, which is abiding in accordance, just as the path shown abides in accordance. "Without contradiction" means that there is no cause of harm that is not in harmony with the grounds, just as the path shown has no harm from thieves, etc., and samsara and nirvana, etc., are not contradictory. Why is the order shown in this way? Because the Bodhisattva sometimes starts with the Dharma first, and from then until the fruit of Nirvana and the unsurpassed perfect enlightenment of manifest enlightenment, it is shown from this. In this way, knowing the cause of all dharmas, one will become proficient in dependent origination, because the fruit arises from the cause, not from Ishvara, etc., so both cause and fruit will be known. Therefore, one should know the characteristics of the dharmas that arise from the cause itself. What are the characteristics? It is to cling to and impute what is not existent in the completely imputed as existent. Because of imputing what is not existent, one will slander the perfectly established reality of what is existent. Therefore, eliminating the faults of both of those extremes is the wise one. Then, one should hold and realize the nature of mere consciousness in this way, so that there will be no obscuration. Then, when abiding in mere consciousness, one should realize the six perfections that are in accordance, and both the conventional truth and the ultimate truth should be realized, and it should be taken with a completely pure mind, that is its meaning. Then, one should become accustomed to the distinctions of the ten grounds in three countless eons, not like the realization of the Hearers, who are liberated by the antidote of the three existences. Then, by meditating on those very things, the three trainings, such as the training in discipline, are completely perfected.

It should be done like this. Thereafter, the excellent result, Nirvana, having abandoned afflictions and the obscuration of knowledge, the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment, the complete three bodies and becoming a Buddha, this is the sequence. These are the Great Vehicle. Therefore, as such, the statement of dependent origination is also included within the Alaya consciousness. Its characteristic is its three self-natures. Therefore, realization is only consciousness. From that is the Paramita. From the Paramita is the pure land. The pure land is learning. From learning is abandonment and wisdom, and non-abiding Nirvana is encompassed by the three bodies. These are called Buddhas, therefore, the sequence is shown in this way. Another name is the one who accomplishes great enlightenment, which is the wisdom of non-proliferation and non-discrimination that universally guides. What is extremely reasonable does not contradict the three kinds of reasoning. What is in accordance is what was in accordance before, and is not contradictory later. As it is said: "To be happy in accordance with virtue, to do beneficial things to harm, not to look at the nature of black and white, the first root is called compassion." And so on. To obtain wisdom through omniscience means that all phenomena arise without interruption and are known in all ways. The meaning of extremely reasonable and so on is also that extremely reasonable, in accordance, and without contradiction are the teachings and explanations. Why? Because what is extremely reasonable abides in accordance and without contradiction. Thus, the scriptural authority of the Alaya consciousness is that the Bhagavan, in that Dharma collection itself, first taught the verses of the realm of beginningless time, the realm being the cause. All phenomena rely on it, meaning that whatever is the cause is the place of all phenomena. Its existence, it is the place of all phenomena, if it exists, then all travelers, all travelers who exist in samsara. Not only travelers, but also Nirvana, its existence, then all afflictions and Nirvana are also. It is the place of knowledge.
