By dedicating (the roots of virtue) entirely to the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment. That which is called "utterly pure and supreme" refers to the giving, etc., that causes one to become a Buddha. That is, it refers to that which is completely liberated from the obscurations of afflictions and the obscurations of knowledge, and which accomplishes everything. So, is whatever is giving also a pāramitā? Is whatever is a pāramitā also giving? In order to clarify the question that has been asked, it should be explained: Whatever is giving, but is not a pāramitā, refers to that which is separate from the six pāramitās. It is a pāramitā, but is not giving, refers to (other) pāramitās such as discipline, which are completely included by the six pāramitās. It is both giving and a pāramitā, refers to giving that is included by the six pāramitās. It is neither giving nor a pāramitā, refers to (other dharmas) that are separate from the six, such as discipline. Likewise, all four alternatives should be examined. The precise meaning should be examined. Briefly, the common precise meaning of all is that pāramitā is "pa," because for all giving, etc., of worldly people, śrāvakas, and pratyekabuddhas, it has reached the highest peak, therefore it is a pāramitā. The individual precise meanings are: At the time of the cause, because one has not destroyed miserliness, one does not give giving; at the time of the result, because poverty holds the body; and because one gives great enjoyment and a collection of merit, therefore it is giving. At the time of the cause, it pacifies the discipline of breaking vows; at the time of the result, it pacifies the lower realms; and because one obtains the good realms and samādhi, therefore it is discipline. Likewise, for all the pāramitās, one should combine their precise meanings according to their respective categories. The so-called "making oneself and others happy" means that one does not create the lower realms for oneself, does not cling to self, does not associate with anger, and also makes others happy, and does not create suffering for them. Meditation should be examined from five aspects, the so-called "combining (the mind) with all actions" is the meditation of combining (the mind) with all actions. The so-called "meditation of accomplishing activities" refers to the activities of the Buddha...

Due to possessing the nature of not needing diligent practice, even without universal conduct, the work of taming will still occur for the sake of subduing sentient beings through the transcendence of the state of the Buddha's body. Such is a temporary practice. The so-called "such a time in a single instant" means taking such immeasurable amounts of time as a single instant. With such an instant, until becoming enlightened, in each instant, one should follow the root scriptures such as "my body" and observe, which is easy to understand. With such a sequence, until abiding in the essence of Bodhicitta, constantly generate such a single thought of discipline and so on. The so-called "three thousand great thousand worlds filled with flames, performing the four postures in each instant, and not possessing all necessities" shows that there is no place and no possession of all necessities. The so-called "if all determined obstacles can also be destroyed" means that mere destruction cannot ripen. Also, since it is the antidote to inner walking, the vast intention is the intention of insatiability. Thus, since there is the intention that they will not abandon for a long time, it is a long-lasting intention. The so-called long-lasting means a long time. The remaining meaning is easy to understand. When explaining the placement and distinction of the body of transcendence, it should be explained. Why are there three types of generosity? That is, the generosity of Dharma and so on. Thus, the generosity of Dharma is to stabilize the roots of virtue of others. The generosity of material things is to stabilize this body. The generosity of fearlessness is to stabilize their mind. Therefore, for that reason, it is said that there are three types of generosity. Discipline is also, the discipline of excellent abiding is the discipline of vows, because it is the place of the meaning of the remaining two. Thus, with the discipline of gathering virtuous Dharmas abiding in vows, as well as the
