Because of the absence of something. Regarding this, how can we use the verses of other direct perceptions shown in the Ornament of the Sutras to explain what is more difficult to realize than that? That is, the so-called "limitless without the other shore." It is like using a distant other shore to describe the limitlessness of words. Although that is not limitless, it is possible to obtain the statement that many themselves are called limitless, and this is similar to that. What kind of collections are they? They are collections of merit and wisdom. Among them, the three perfections, such as generosity, are the collection of merit. The perfection of wisdom is the collection of wisdom. The perfection of diligence is both. Among them, in terms of its meaning, diligence as a means is wisdom. And diligence for the benefit of sentient beings is the collection of merit. Similarly, the perfection of meditation is also of two kinds. Among them, meditation focused on the immeasurable is merit. Other than that, it is the collection of wisdom. What is it? It is the Bodhisattva himself. "Because of well-determining mindfulness of the Dharma." means: After meditation, mindfulness of the Dharma is what is well-determined, not others. "Understanding arises from the cause of expressing the aspect of meaning." means: Expressing the cause of the aspect of meaning is complete knowledge. Abiding in such mind-only nature means knowing that these appearances of meaning are only mind-only. "Therefore, the nature free from the two characteristics, the Dharmadhatu becomes manifest." means: By being free from the characteristics of the grasped and the grasper, that other than that becomes manifest. "How does that other than that become manifest?" In order to explain that point, it is said: "The mind has no other object, which is proven by wisdom, therefore that mind is also proven to be non-existent." means: There is no object to be focused on other than the mind, and because there is no object, the mind that focuses on it is also unobtainable. After the Bodhisattva realizes the non-existence of the two, "He abides in the Dharmadhatu without being associated with them." means: It means being separated from those meanings and the mind.

The end of other words. "Non-discriminating wisdom power" means the power of non-discriminating wisdom. "Following after equality" means like the sky, seeing all dharmas such as sutras as equality itself. "All" means the nature of outer and inner. How the seen dharmas, those themselves are constantly seen, that is, constant. "The place of its density accumulating faults" means the place of all afflictive dharmas, that is, the cause. "Density" means difficult to realize. "Accumulating faults" means the meaning of the aspect of the habitual tendencies of all afflictive dharmas. The virtuous dharma established by the Sage, placing the root in the realm of dharma, establishing it as supreme. That is, with the root mind, on whatever object the mind is definitely placed, that is, on suchness itself. In that, the root mind is that which focuses on the collection of all the teachers of the Thus-Gone One. That should also be seen as non-discriminating wisdom. "The continuum of mindfulness, only knowing mere discrimination." That is, it also abides in the root mind. The meaning obtained after the teachings. Remembering the past is the continuum of mindfulness, that which has become mere discrimination. Non-discrimination and that which is obtained after it, those two are also the other shore of the ocean of qualities, that is, the Buddha. "Firm and swift" means the Bodhisattva itself. The summarized meaning of those verses is that the first is the path of accumulation. Half of the second is the path of preparation. The latter half and the third are the path of seeing. The fourth is the path of meditation. The fifth is the path of completion. When one enters, at that time, because of the purity of superior intention, the practice of all actions in the six perfections means the practice of all actions. "Having faith in the teachings" means also in whatever six perfections and the extremely profound. "Experiencing the taste, paying attention" means seeing their qualities and experiencing the taste. "Joyfully paying attention" means that such superior intention definitely obtains the perfection to the highest degree, like that, oneself and all sentient beings.
