Uninterrupted great compassion, and a smiling face are actions of the body. "Slight words" means speaking about the Dharma. Uninterrupted great compassion means suffering with suffering, and happiness is the suffering of change. What is neither suffering nor happiness is the suffering of conditioning itself, without the distinction of happiness and suffering. Unwavering action means not acting upon oneself with the thought, "How can I possibly achieve Buddhahood?" "Not being disheartened" means not being weary of achieving Buddhahood. "Never being satisfied with hearing and meaning" means that even if one hears much, one does not become indifferent. The meaning of the phrase "completely training the mind of enlightenment in all activities" is like the Sutra of Completely Pure Conduct. As for "specifically engaging in action," it means that by increasing the six practices that completely join together, which are the cause for increasing the superior intention of benefiting others, one will become complete. "Residing respectfully in solitude" means that when residing there, one completely abandons false conceptualizations. "Various worldly things" means doing this and that, and so on. "The action of joining to accomplish" means the sign of the action that accomplishes it. "Obtaining power" means the six superknowledges. "Relying on wisdom" means relying on wisdom and not on consciousness. Generating wisdom through one's own self-awareness, and then abiding in the Dharma by manifestly joining with that wisdom. "The action of placing in that" means the superior intention of doing benefit and happiness, which completely prevents sentient beings from that very benefit and happiness. "The qualities of completely gathering the assembly" means that even those who have broken their vows are not completely abandoned, nor are they completely rejected, but are rescued from non-virtue and led to virtue. "Instructing and guiding without hesitation" means that when someone is given a portion of instruction,

Moreover, I will not say that I have not shown well what I have shown to you. Therefore, those words are worthy of being accepted. To gather with Dharma and wealth is also to gather with Dharma and wealth, such as Dharma robes, which speak truthfully, and those that are gathered can also accomplish the same. What is meant by 'the mind is not completely afflicted' is that whoever takes hold of the mind of enlightenment and does what benefits sentient beings, but does not completely enjoy himself. Thus, with this root of virtue, may I realize the unsurpassed perfect and complete enlightenment, and after becoming a Buddha, may I be able to closely gather all sentient beings. These meanings are explained in verses, such as 'The first word is to hold'. Thus, briefly speaking, there are two types of knowable and characteristics. How to enter will be shown. Among them, what is it like to enter the knowable and the characteristics? It is the Bodhisattva who has accumulated the merit and wisdom. And in what order does one perfect the accumulation of merit and wisdom? It is through the power of cause, the power of virtuous spiritual friends, the power of attention, and the power of demonstration. Among them, with two words, one should know the two powers as in number. Among them, with the power of attention, one can believe wholeheartedly. That is also the cause of having the habit of the Great Vehicle. Among them, if there is a special belief in one, one can truly enter into practice. If one truly abides in practice, one can be close to the roots of virtue, etc. Thus, with the power of attention, one can be good at accumulating merit and wisdom, and the order of the order is like this. Thus, accumulating merit and wisdom well will lead to entering the ground, and thus becoming close to demonstration is to say that it arises from the cause of the Great Vehicle Dharma by the power of demonstration, which means to focus on the Dharma that is demonstrated. What do you enter with? It is with the power of generating the roots of virtue, and in three ways.

From what is called "Mind Training," up to "Always applying with reverence, entering with mindfulness." The power of increasing the root of virtue should also be combined with the eight lines as previously shown. Among them, there are three types of mind training as antidotes to the three kinds of timidity. That is, when a Bodhisattva hears that the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment, which is extremely profound and vast, is difficult to realize, he becomes timid. The first mind training is the antidote to this. Furthermore, a Bodhisattva also becomes timid when practicing the extremely profound and vast perfections that are difficult to realize. The second mind training is taught as the antidote to this. With what intention does one universally practice the perfections such as generosity? Intention is faith and aspiration. Believing in existence, possessing qualities, possessing ability, and the perfections themselves, this is the faith of a Bodhisattva. The desire to make diligent effort generated by faith is aspiration. A Bodhisattva who has obtained an intention that is the nature of such faith and aspiration will completely perfect the cultivation of the six perfections with only a little effort. Furthermore, when a Bodhisattva dwells skillfully in distinguishing the profound and vast Dharma of the Buddhas, he thinks like this: "To attain such unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment in a single instant is difficult to realize," and thus becomes timid. The third mind training, "My virtue is without obscuration," etc., is the antidote to this, and should be combined with "I have well accumulated the collection of wisdom in all ten Bhumis." "Virtue without obscuration," etc., refers to the Vajra-like Samadhi that weakens the negative states associated with desire and removes the obscurations that are difficult to separate. By means of uninterrupted Samadhi, one becomes free from all obscurations, and by relying on that as a basis, one will attain (accomplishment). Merely death and complete separation are also considered to be of the same Dharma nature. Perfection means all
