If one clings to this, then merely it, and two, and entering into diversity, is called the term of merely being a cause, it is the same as others. Some Bodhisattvas think that only the consciousness of mind exists. Also, the order of how it is arranged should be shown, for example, like the mind is to the actions of body and speech, just as when the mind enters through the door of the body, it is called the action of the body, through the door of speech it is the action of speech, and the action of the mind is called the action of the mind, even if there is only the consciousness of mind, when it enters relying on the eye, it obtains the name of being called the consciousness of the eye, similarly, it also obtains the name up to being the consciousness of the body. Moreover, for it, there are no other consciousnesses that are not the consciousness of mind, like the alaya-consciousness. Therefore, when it arises in all supports, by what does it arise appearing in two forms of diversity? Because it appears merely as a thing and appears as discrimination, these should be completely abandoned. Among them, in all supports means in all supports such as the eye. Appearing in two forms of diversity means that it is shown by the two words "because it appears merely as a thing and appears as discrimination." These two words indicate that one part of the single consciousness will appear merely as a thing, and the second part will produce the form of discrimination of things, therefore, there is no fault as previously stated. Because if there is form, then the appearance of tactile sensation will arise in all places. Because in meditative absorption, the five consciousnesses are not close, and the inner experience will arise, just like other colored senses exist in the body. Just as other senses that exist in the body, such as the eyes, etc., because they exist in that body, the place of the senses themselves closely accomplishes the benefit and harm done by it. Similarly, here too, because the consciousness of mind exists in the body, it is thought that it will change the body.

So should it be practiced. Furthermore, just as the sense faculties of the body rely on the body itself, if there are external conditions to be touched, then the sense faculties of the body will also have the appearance of touch. When this happens, they will either benefit or harm their own support, the body. Similarly, the appearance of consciousness also relies on the body, so after the appearance of touch, it will benefit and harm the body. These bodies, if the support is the non-conceptual roots such as the eye, then the consciousness that arises from it will also attain the nature of non-conceptuality, just as the afflicted mind arises as afflicted by relying on affliction. Moreover, Bodhisattvas prove this with verses, in which it is said: "Going far" means because it is focused on all objects. "Walking alone" means because there is no companion. "Whoever is without a body" means because it is separated from the body. "Cave dwelling" means dwelling in the cave of the body. "Taming the mind" means being able to control the mind. "Difficult to tame" means difficult to tame. Also, the scripture says: "The object of these senses is experienced separately by the mind," meaning that whatever object of the senses is shown, the mind will experience it one by one, separately, because the mind is conceptual about all dharmas, so it will experience it separately. The scripture says: "The mind is the support of these," meaning that if the mind is distracted, these roots will not arise, because the mind is the cause of the arising of these roots. Also, the scripture says that the six aggregates of definite consciousness are indicated by the word "mind," but not by the words of other consciousnesses, because the sutra says: "The six aggregates of consciousness are the birthplace of the mind." Therefore, it should be understood that only the mind exists. What is established by the consciousness with the view of characteristics is the Alaya consciousness. The appearance of mind combined with Alaya consciousness is the view. What is touched by the eye, etc., is the cause.
