Alternatively, what is the fate of completely falling away from dwelling happily in the seen Dharma? What is the Dharma of self-harm? If a dull-witted person, whether intoxicated or not, does not kill, they are destined to completely fall away from dwelling happily in the seen Dharma; if they kill, they are not destined. What is the Dharma of subsequent protection? If a dull-witted person is intoxicated, they are destined to completely fall away from dwelling happily in the seen Dharma; if they are not intoxicated, they are not destined. What is unmoving from dwelling? A dull-witted person, whether intoxicated or not, is not destined to completely fall away from dwelling happily in the seen Dharma, nor are they a person destined to enjoy the senses. What is suitable for complete understanding? A dull-witted person, whether intoxicated or not, is not destined to completely fall away from dwelling happily in the seen Dharma, but is a person destined to tame the senses. What is the Dharma of non-confusion? One who is naturally sharp-witted, whether intoxicated or not, is not destined to completely fall away from dwelling happily in the seen Dharma. Who is the ordinary being who engages in desire? One who is born in the desire realm and has not attained the noble Dharmas. Who is the trainee who engages in desire? One who is born in the desire realm, has attained the noble Dharmas, and is a person with remaining bonds. Who is the non-trainee who engages in desire? One who is born in the desire realm, has attained the noble Dharmas, and is a person without remaining bonds. Just as the three types of individuals who engage in desire are observed, so too should the three who engage in form and formlessness be observed. Who is the Bodhisattva who engages in desire and form? One who has abandoned the formless realm, possesses meditative concentration, dwells in the bliss of meditative concentration, and is destined to be born in the desire realm or the form realm. Who is the solitary Buddha who engages in desire? In the absence of the appearance of a Buddha,

The person who is born in the desire realm and directly realizes self-enlightenment. What is the Inconceivable Thus-Gone One? It is the person who, from the time of residing in the Tushita heaven until complete passing into nirvana, demonstrates all the practices of a Bodhisattva, and also demonstrates the practices of a Buddha in the desire realm. Who is a faith-practitioner? It is the Bodhisattva who is a person possessing small, medium, and great forbearance on the ground of faith-practice. Who is a practitioner with superior intention? It is the person who dwells on the ten Bodhisattva grounds. Who is a practitioner with signs? It is the person who dwells on the Bodhisattva grounds of the Extremely Joyful, the Stainless, the Luminous, the Radiant, the Very Difficult to Train, and the Manifest. Who is the person who is a practitioner without signs? It is the person who dwells on the Bodhisattva ground of the Gone Afar. Who is a practitioner without manifestation of effort? It is the person who dwells on the Bodhisattva grounds of the Immovable, the Good Intelligence, and the Cloud of Dharma. What is meant by the person who has entered the stream? There are two types of those who have entered the stream: the gradual and the immediate. The gradual is as previously described. The immediate is the one who, having directly realized the truths, relies on the invincible and, through the supramundane path, instantly abandons all the afflictions that operate in the three realms. This is the fruit of entering the stream and the fruit of an Arhat, these two fruits are established. Mostly, one obtains omniscience at the time of seeing the Dharma or at the time of death. If not, one is still a possessor of the power of aspiration, and due to the power of aspiration, one is born in the desire realm. If a Buddha does not appear, one becomes a solitary realizer. What is the establishment of direct realization? There are ten direct realizations: direct realization of the Dharma, direct realization of the meaning, direct realization of thatness, subsequent direct realization, direct realization of the sacred, and direct realization of all non-arising.
