What is the faculty of knowing? It is that which has power over the fifteen moments of mind on the path of joining and the path of seeing. What is the faculty of complete knowledge? It is that which, relying on the sixteenth moment of mind on the path of seeing, has power over all paths of learning. What is the faculty of complete knowledge and possession? It is that which has power over the path of no more learning. When meditating on the path of the first dhyana ground, one meditates on the roots of virtue that are extremely associated with desire, because one has obtained mastery over them. In the first dhyana ground, just as one behaves in the desire realm, when meditating on all the paths of the higher grounds, one meditates on the roots of virtue of the lower grounds, because one has obtained mastery over them. What is the ultimate path? It is because of cutting off all bad migrations, cutting off the attainment of encounters, and obtaining the attainment of separations, relying on the vajra-like samadhi, one immediately becomes a state without remainder, that is, knowing exhaustion and knowing non-arising. It is also the ten dharmas of no more learning, that is, from the right view of no more learning to the right samadhi of no more learning, as well as the right liberation of no more learning and the right knowledge of no more learning. What are all the bad migrations? They are the bad migrations of manifestation that pervade all, as well as the bad migrations of feeling, the bad migrations of daytime affliction, the bad migrations of karma, the bad migrations of maturation, the bad migrations of the obscuration of afflictions, the bad migrations of the obscuration of karma, the bad migrations of the obscuration of maturation, the bad migrations of shadows, the bad migrations of conceptualization, the bad migrations of food, the bad migrations of intercourse, the bad migrations of dreams, the bad migrations of disease, the bad migrations of aging, the bad migrations of death, the bad migrations of complete exhaustion, the stable bad migrations, the great bad migrations, the medium bad migrations, the small bad migrations, the bad migrations of the obscuration of daytime affliction, the bad migrations of the obscuration of equipoise, and the bad migrations of the obscuration of knowable things. What are the attainments of encounters?

It is called attainment through accumulating evil places. What are the attainments of the fruit? It is called the attainment of separation when the evil place is exhausted. What is the diamond-like samadhi? It is that which is gathered by the path of application and that which is gathered by the path of no interruption. That which is gathered by the path of application is that from which all obscurations cannot be separated from now on, and all obscurations will be shattered. That which is gathered by the path of no interruption is that under which the knowledge of cessation and the knowledge of non-arising arise, and that samadhi is also uninterrupted, stable, firm, of one taste, and pervasive. With this in mind, the Blessed One gave the example: For example, a large rock that is not cracked, has no hail, is not hollow, is gathered, and is very hard, even the wind from the east cannot move it. Just as the east is, so are all directions. What is the state of complete transformation? It refers to the transformation of the state of mind upon attaining the path of no more learning, as well as the transformation of the state of the path and the transformation of the state of the evil place. What is the knowledge of cessation? It refers to that which is known after the cause has ceased, or that which has cessation as its object. What is the knowledge of non-arising? It refers to that which is known after abandoning the fruit, or that which has the non-arising of the fruit as its object. The ten dharmas of no more learning refer to the categories of the aggregate of morality of no more learning, the aggregate of samadhi, the aggregate of wisdom, the aggregate of liberation, and the aggregate of the vision of the knowledge of liberation, and should be understood as such. Furthermore, the aspects of the truth of the path should be understood as four characteristics: the characteristic of the path, the characteristic of reason, the characteristic of accomplishment, and the characteristic of definite departure. Why is it called the characteristic of the path? Because it is for the sake of completely seeking its meaning. Why is it called the characteristic of reason? Because it is the antidote to afflictions. Why is it called the characteristic of accomplishment? Because it is for the sake of accomplishing the mind without inversion. Why is it called the characteristic of definite departure? Because it is for the sake of going to the place of permanence. Among the truths, there are sixteen aspects, both mundane and supramundane. The mundane and the supramundane
