Whatever is felt, it is taught here as suffering, thus it was instructed. Furthermore, for conditioned phenomena related to the nature of arising and ceasing, eight sufferings such as birth manifest. Therefore, it is called suffering. What is the characteristic of emptiness? That in which something is absent is truly seen as empty of that. Whatever remains here, know that it exists here, understand it thoroughly as it is. This is the correct view entering into emptiness, called non-perverted. Where is what absent? In the aggregates, elements, and sense bases, there is no characteristic of permanence, stability, constancy, immutability, self, and belonging to self. Therefore, they are empty of that. What remains there? It is the very absence of self. Thus, although there is no self, the absence of self exists, one should comprehend emptiness. Considering this, the Bhagavan said: What exists exists, and what does not exist does not exist, one should thoroughly understand as it is. Furthermore, there are three kinds of emptiness: emptiness of intrinsic nature, emptiness of non-existence as such, and emptiness of inherent nature. The first is to be viewed as apprehending the nature of the completely imputed. The second is to be viewed as apprehending the nature of dependence on others. The third is to be viewed as apprehending the nature of the thoroughly established. What is the characteristic of selflessness? Just as those who speak of self posit a characteristic of self, the aggregates, elements, and sense bases are separated from characteristics. The aggregates, elements, and sense bases are selfless by the characteristic of self. Considering this, the Bhagavan said: All phenomena are selfless. The Bhagavan said: All these are not mine, this is not me, this is not my self, it is just like this, one should observe as it is with correct wisdom. What is the meaning of this? It means that the external objects are not mine, the internal objects are not me, this is not my self.

Just as for external objects, the form of "self" is blocked, and for internal objects, the forms of "self" and "mine" are blocked. What is meant by saying that "the characteristic of a moment is impermanence"? Just as mind and mental events are not momentary, form should also be regarded as momentary, because it is grasped by the mind, is of the same essence as the mind, shares the same pleasure as the mind, changes when the mind changes, is the abode of the mind, arises under the control of the mind, and is for the purpose of the mind controlling it. Moreover, because it is aimed at eventual destruction, and even after arising, it does not depend on conditions but naturally disintegrates on its own, form should also be regarded as momentary. Whatever form it may be, all of them are the four great elements, and are caused by the four great elements. From what intention were these words spoken? They were spoken from the intention of existence. The meaning of an object that relies on one direction is the meaning of being caused. It should be said that whatever aggregate arises from, whatever the target is, it is there. There are aggregates that arise from one great element, some from two great elements, and even some from all the great elements. For form that is caused, it should also be known that whatever form is caused, whatever aggregate, whatever the target is, it is there. What is said, "accumulating atoms is the aggregate of form," it should be understood that atoms have no body. By thoroughly analyzing with wisdom and classifying atoms, it is to break down the concept of wholeness and to lead to the understanding that form does not exist as a substance. Furthermore, this suffering can be very intense and unmitigated, mitigated, neither mitigated nor unmitigated, intermediate unmitigated, mitigated and mitigated, very mitigated and mitigated, extremely very mitigated and mitigated, and there are also those that are not suffering but appear as suffering and are close to a state of great mitigation. What is suffering that is very intense and unmitigated? It is the suffering of those who act as they please and have not accumulated virtuous roots. What is mitigated? It is the suffering born to those beings who are in accordance with the factors of liberation. What is neither mitigated nor unmitigated?
