If one examines what is visible, what is it? The object of the eye is visible. The remaining detailed classifications are like those of form. Everything is visible. Or combine them as appropriate. This is to abandon the attachment to the object of the eye as self. How is it invisible? What is invisible? Why examine what is invisible? What is the opposite of visible is regarded as invisible. Everything is invisible. Or combine them as appropriate. This is to abandon the attachment to non-objects of the eye as self. How is it obstructive? What is obstructive? Why examine what is obstructive? Whatever is visible is also obstructive. Furthermore, it is regarded as obstructive in three ways: by type, by accumulation, and by not being completely purified. Of these, type refers to what mutually obscures and is obscured. Of these, accumulation refers to what has become a mass from minute particles. Of these, not being completely purified refers to form that has not been transformed by the power of meditative absorption. Furthermore, it is obstructive because it is the basis for extreme disturbance. Everything is obstructive. Or combine them as appropriate. This is to abandon the attachment to not being completely absorbed into self. How is it unobstructed? What is unobstructed? Why examine what is unobstructed? What is the opposite of obstructive is unobstructed. Everything is unobstructed. Or combine them as appropriate. This is to abandon the attachment to being completely absorbed into self. How is it with outflows? What is with outflows? Why examine what is with outflows? Because it is the nature of outflows, related to outflows, bound by outflows, following outflows, in accordance with outflows, and arising from the cause of outflows, it is regarded as with outflows. The five aggregates of grasping, the fifteen realms, the ten sense bases, the three realms, and the aspects of the two sense bases are all with outflows. This is to abandon the attachment to with outflows as self.

Furthermore, how is it without outflows? How many are those without outflows? Why examine what is without outflows? One should regard as without outflows that which is the opposite of what has outflows. The five aggregates that are not appropriated, as well as the three realms and a portion of the two sources. It is to abandon the attachment of manifestly clinging to the self as being separate from outflows. Furthermore, how is it with strife? How many are those with strife? Why examine what is with strife? Depending on the nature of desire, hatred, and ignorance, taking up weapons, cutting with punishments, fighting, exposing faults, arguing, gambling, etc., arise; it is its nature, it is related to it, bound by it, follows it, is in accordance with it, and arises from its cause, therefore it should be regarded as with strife. As many as are with outflows, so many are also with strife. It is to abandon the attachment of manifestly clinging to the self as possessing strife. Furthermore, how is it without strife? How many are those without strife? Why examine what is without strife? That which is the opposite of strife and what is with it is without strife. As many as are without outflows, so many are also without strife. It is to abandon the attachment of manifestly clinging to the self as being separate from strife. Furthermore, how is it with entanglement? How many are those with entanglement? Why examine what is with entanglement? Depending on the nature of desire, hatred, and ignorance, particularly clinging to the body of rebirth, it is its nature, it is related to it, bound by it, follows it, is in accordance with it, and arises from its cause, therefore it should be regarded as with entanglement. As many as are with strife, so many are also with entanglement. It is to abandon the attachment of manifestly clinging to the self as possessing entanglement. Furthermore, how is it without entanglement? How many are those without entanglement? Why examine what is without entanglement? That which is the opposite of entanglement is without entanglement. As many as are without strife, so many are also without entanglement. It is to abandon the attachment of manifestly clinging to the self as being separate from entanglement. Furthermore, how is it dependent on clinging? How many are those dependent on clinging? Why
