There is complete conceptualization in itself, complete conceptualization in difference, purity and impurity. Purity is the complete conceptualization of those skilled in terminology. Impurity is the complete conceptualization of those unskilled in terminology. Again, there are five aspects: completely conceptualizing the nature of meaning based on name, for example, saying, "The meaning of this name is this." Completely conceptualizing the nature of name based on meaning, for example, saying, "The name of this meaning is this." Completely conceptualizing the nature of name based on name, for example, completely conceptualizing a name whose meaning is not understood. Completely conceptualizing the nature of meaning based on meaning, for example, completely conceptualizing the nature of a meaning whose name is not understood. Relying on both, completely conceptualizing both, for example, saying, "The name of this entity of such a meaning is this." If all are summarized, there are ten types of discrimination. The root discrimination is, for example, the alaya-vijnana (storehouse consciousness). The discrimination of characteristics is, for example, the consciousness of forms and so on. The discrimination of appearing characteristics is, for example, the consciousness of the eye, etc., with its basis. The discrimination of changing characteristics is, for example, aging and so on, pleasant feelings and so on, desire and so on, harm and changes due to time and so on, the going of sentient beings to hell and so on, the desire realm and so on causing that to change. The discrimination of appearing and changing characteristics is, for example, that change itself causing that to change, as previously mentioned. The discrimination taught by others is, for example, whatever discrimination follows listening to non-virtuous teachings and follows listening to virtuous teachings. The improper discrimination is, for example, that which arises from listening to non-virtuous teachings, that is, the discrimination of outsiders from this. The proper discrimination is, for example, that which arises from listening to virtuous teachings, that is, the discrimination of those of this Dharma. The discrimination of attachment

It is like this: what is the conceptualization that arises from the root of the view of the perishable aggregates arising from improper attention, and that is similar to the sixty-two views? Distracted conceptualizations are like this: the conceptualizations of Bodhisattvas are of ten kinds, namely: distraction of the sign of non-existent things, distraction of the sign of existent things, distraction of superimposition, distraction of defamation, distraction of oneness, distraction of otherness, distraction of self-nature, distraction of difference, distraction of name as meaning, and distraction of meaning as name. Among them, in order to counteract conceptualization of non-existent things, it is said: although the Bodhisattva exists, and so on. In order to counteract conceptualization of existent things, it is said: the Bodhisattva does not truly see. In order to counteract conceptualization of superimposition, it is said: the name of the Bodhisattva is not truly seen, the Prajñāpāramitā is not truly seen, the conduct is not truly seen, the form is not truly seen, and between feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness is not truly seen. Why is that? Because, name is empty of self-nature, and so on. In order to counteract conceptualization of defamation, it is said: it is not by emptiness. In order to counteract conceptualization of oneness, it is said: what is the emptiness of form, that is not form, and so on. In order to counteract conceptualization of otherness, it is said: form is not other than emptiness, form itself is emptiness, emptiness is form. In order to counteract conceptualization of self-nature, it is said: Subhuti, for example, form, this is just a name, and so on. For difference,

In order to counteract conceptualization, it is said: The nature is unborn and unceasing, not all afflictions, not completely pure. As the name is, so it is said for the sake of counteracting conceptualization in meaning: In the false name, those dharmas are distinguished separately, and names are suddenly applied accordingly. As names are applied accordingly, so clinging manifests. As the meaning is, so it is said for the sake of counteracting conceptualization in name: Bodhisattvas do not truly see all those names accordingly. Because names are not truly seen accordingly, there is no manifest clinging, which is the meaning of "as the meaning is." Just as form is, so it should be combined up to consciousness. The antidote to these ten distractions is the non-conceptual wisdom taught in all Prajñāpāramitā. Thus, all the meanings of Prajñāpāramitā should be understood as having opposing sides and antidotes. If, in terms of categories, the other-dependent nature is three, then how can the three natures not become without distinction? By whatever category it is other-dependent, it is therefore not the completely imputed, nor is it the thoroughly established. By whatever category it is completely imputed, it is therefore not other-dependent, nor is it thoroughly established. By whatever category it is thoroughly established, it is therefore not other-dependent, nor is it completely imputed. How does the other-dependent nature appear as the nature of the completely imputed, and why does it not appear as not its nature? Because there is no wisdom before the name, therefore it is contradictory to become its nature, and because there are many names, it becomes many natures, and because the name is uncertain, it becomes contradictory that the natures are mixed. Here it is said in verse: Because there is no wisdom before the name, because of many and because of uncertain, its nature, many natures, the mixing of natures is established by contradiction. Dharmas are focused on non-existence, all afflictions are without complete purity, illusions and so on are like non-existence, likewise, it should be known like space. If it has been determined how it appears, then how is it non-existent?
