In order to correctly practice in places such as lands, thereby demonstrating the aspect of entering (practice) with discipline, for those who are worthy of respect, starting with words such as "also," until the lineage aspect of the discipline pāramitā is completely fulfilled. Among these, with the understanding of the world as a prerequisite, for special, equal, and inferior beings, one should consider their respective abilities and practice appropriately accordingly. One should abandon the three kinds of afflictions that are close at hand and diligently practice in the form of antidotes. Among these, taking the special ones as an example to explain, it begins with words such as "for those who are worthy of respect, also." These "also" should be understood as the previously mentioned gurus, elders, and objects of offering. For them, one should abandon the affliction of envy that is close at hand, and diligently engage in the affairs of service and attendance. As it is said in the scripture, "with the act of reverence." For equals, one should abandon the affliction of competition that is close at hand, protect their minds, not despise them, and practice correctly with an attitude of respect. To demonstrate this, the scripture says, "One should live in harmony, understand each other's weaknesses, and be in accordance with the minds of others." For inferiors, contempt is also an affliction that is close at hand, so it should be completely abandoned, showing a beautiful demeanor, making them aspire. To demonstrate correct practice, it is explained in the scripture with words such as "first sending a smile." For those who benefit beings, one should repay kindness, understand their kindness, and constantly abide in this, diligently practicing in order to repay their kindness. Abiding through the practice of constantly remembering the kindness of help, this is knowing kindness. Because one knows that one should repay their kindness, this is repaying kindness. For begging beings, one should accomplish the benefit of those who are impoverished, thereby fulfilling their wishes. The practice of accomplishing the wishes of others is correct diligence, which is explained in the scripture with words such as "doing it honestly." Promising to do something but not doing it for a long time is deception and hypocrisy. For the sake of correctly completing all of one's own affairs.

Having spoken, he said: "To act according to Dharma" means to act reasonably. "Not being negligent" means not committing evil deeds. Or, with a face full of tears and exhaustion, not even one's own male and female servants, and the men who work, should be made to do what is not lawful. Those who are under the control of others and have no freedom should not be forced by force, which is also not being negligent. Having made the objects of meritorious deeds truly accomplished, he said: "Even by nature, one is happy to do meritorious deeds," and so on. If one respectfully helps others who do meritorious deeds, then one will be even more diligent in one's own meritorious deeds. One should strive to give such gifts. One should also do meritorious deeds. One should also observe fasting. One should also take the precepts correctly and abide by them, and so on, and one should understand by following other sutras. The practice that was previously shown should also be understood by following the sutras such as "Holding the mother as the mother," and so on. Seeing or hearing the suffering of those sentient beings who are suffering from the harm done by others, and giving rise to intense compassion, is the true practice. Seeing their suffering as if it were happening to oneself, harming others will cause great harm. "To take up the Dharma correctly, to value it greatly" is to show that one has taken up the chosen deity. Because one has no regard for body, life, and enjoyment, it is said that one values the next life greatly. Even if one is attached to the happiness of this world, it is because one sees the faults of black karma. If one fears even the slightest fault, what need is there to mention many faults? It means that one is already suffering greatly now, and that it is the source of other sufferings. In order to help the deeds of other sentient beings that do not contradict the Dharma, are close in meaning, and are reasonable, when one acts, one is doing a sacred deed oneself.
