O. Therefore, this and all other things will be beneficial to oneself. Therefore, it is said that there are benefits in this life and the next. For this life, by showing the near cause, it can bring the benefit of happiness. For the next life, by showing the near cause, it can accomplish benefits and happiness. It is said that the forerunner of all virtuous dharmas is wisdom. Therefore, it is said that it is also the root of all good, and so on. It is said that through the power of wisdom, even Buddhahood can be attained. Therefore, it is said that in the next life, it can also eliminate the two obscurations, and so on. As mentioned earlier, the blessings of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas who abide in the ripened fruit of merit should be understood as the power that is born together. Moreover, it will also function in the continuums of oneself and others, because it can benefit oneself and others. Moreover, it should be placed in three states. One should do as much as possible for the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, namely the state of cause, the state of fruit, and the state of activity that benefits sentient beings. Even without practicing through the differences of aspiration and karma, being able to recall the states of past lives is called naturally remembering past lives. The so-called separate observation means by the power of compassion and wisdom. Even if there is a strong attachment to self, worldly people cannot endure even a little suffering for themselves, while Bodhisattvas endure four kinds of suffering for others, which is called the power of not being afraid of suffering. Even if one does not like the suffering of others, one is not overwhelmed by suffering and displeasure, but in order to accomplish the happiness of sentient beings, joy will arise, which is called the third power of not being afraid of suffering. Those who want to benefit others will be happy even in hell. This is expressed in these words. Having thus explained the common power of those who abide in the path of practice, now it is about birth.

One should speak of those who can hinder. The saying, "As long as life lasts, one dwells in Tushita," refers to the fact that the sons of gods other than the Bodhisattvas born in the palaces of Tushita are not certain to dwell there for as long as their lives last. Therefore, for beings of the same kind and equal merit born there, they have completely transcended, so this is also a kind of power. Sometimes, some Bodhisattvas born in Tushita will dwell for a long time. Therefore, mainly through the karma of merit, one will be born there, and after being born, because one dwells in the respective determined places of those born there, one does not depend on the length of life, but through a very certain state, one dwells there for as long as life lasts. For example, just as the noble Maitreya Bodhisattva is now, and the present period of decline has passed, it will gradually increase again. From then on, when striving for decline, one will be born here. Such merit of abiding is not possessed by other sons of gods born in Tushita, because the time has passed for a very long time. The so-called life of the gods refers to those who are born there, by what they live in happiness, and by what they live in wisdom, because there is no such perfect life. The colors of the sons of gods of the desire realm and the form realm who are gathered there, and the body far surpasses the Bodhisattva's own body, will appear particularly excellent, which refers to color. It is precisely because he is praised by all the world that he is called fame. This is spoken in terms of the power of the last existence. For example, even in the intermediate state of the Bodhisattva, one can illuminate the three thousand great thousand worlds with great light, but for some beings, such a situation has never occurred. The so-called descending into the womb, the power also far exceeds all beings, refers to the fact that the entry into the womb of all ordinary beings and Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas is an inferior aspect. The Wheel-Turning Kings possess one limb.
