Now, those related to evil deeds become unrestrained, and urging them correctly is to make them accept correctly, and to combine correctly for that purpose. For those who are fond of inferiority, and those who scold themselves, and the lazy, and those who are accompanied by fear and much regret, to praise correctly is to generate joy. To make those who have correctly entered into this and that thing correctly happy is to generate joy itself. Having spoken in consideration of necessity, such as correctly taking virtue, etc., if one has the interval of correctly making them happy in this way, then non-virtuous dharmas will be abandoned. Virtuous dharmas will be cultivated, so sins will be abandoned, and merit will be correctly accepted, this is certain. In order to show that what is subsequently obtained is also excellent, it is said, with a mind that is not completely defiled, etc. In this regard, a completely defiled mind is to enter into the teacher, etc., because one desires to obtain profit and respect, etc. The opposite of this, entering in order to obtain the complete liberation of oneself and others, is called a mind that is not completely defiled. There are also two kinds of urging, urging with meaning and urging without meaning. In this regard, urging with meaning is to enter into the five paths of speech that have the white aspect, because this benefits oneself, others, and the Dharma. The opposite of this, belonging to being urged by complete defilement, is not excellent. Showing the downfall of past people is to remember. Preventing and guarding against the occurrence of downfall in the present and future is to instruct and subsequently show.

Regarding the act of uttering the sound "u," concerning what follows and so forth. It is either an establishment different from the sounds of gods and humans previously mentioned, or it is a distinction of those very sounds. It should be greatly understood through two aspects: namely, the instigator itself and the support. The instigator is also of two kinds: speaking in terms of the mind in a state of joy, the meaning of "the sound of a great assembly of sentient beings" is the sound of a great assembly of sentient beings gathered together. Or it is the great sound of the assembly of sentient beings. Thus, it is shown that this is produced by intense joy, greatly produced by the force of joy. To show that the sound produced by suffering and unpleasantness is also great, it is said, "various harms" and so forth. To show the multitude of supports, it is said, "thunder sounds" and so forth. Smallness of sound is also of two kinds: belonging to a very subtle state, namely, being heard only through intense effort, and being heard only by the continuum of one sentient being, and not by others. Therefore, it is said, meaning even up to the sound of rubbing in the ear. If the verbal expression and form are similar, but the sound clearly expresses words and letters through the discernment of meaning, that is what is called a clear sound. The opposite of those sounds that can understand meaning is an unclear sound. Not all mantras have meaning,

Such as the so-called realm of countless supports and so on. The wisdom of knowing death and birth is the understanding of death and birth, meaning to take those states as objects and grasp them. By mentioning the beginning and the end with wisdom, the intermediate states are also known. In short, it should be understood that that wisdom can be established in three ways: the nature of the support itself, the nature of the object, and the nature of the difference of the object. Also, support, object, and form. Speaking in terms of support, such as the so-called divine eye, etc., means relying on this, relying on that to know. It means relying on the support to make a close connection. How can the eye know, such as the so-called form, etc., and also like ringing a bell. Because it belongs to the heavenly path, it is called heavenly. Because it is well distinguished by supernatural powers, it is called pure. This can eliminate those born from karma and those obtained by birth. Therefore, it is said to transcend human karma, because it can become the object of practice for the distant, the extremely subtle, and the hidden. The object is sentient beings, why is it said: sentient beings are the cause of birth and death, etc. That is only to say the main thing, it is not that only sentient beings are not seen, but also other forms are seen. In order to show that sentient beings are grasped by four forms, the state of taking and abandoning the corresponding body is what should be grasped, what is called the time of death and birth, that is, the meaning of the time of death. What is called the time of death and rebirth is the time of birth, because it is said to be born in the intermediate state. It is said that the previous corresponding body has died and has not yet taken another birth, that is, it is about to be born. Because it also has the nature of color in the intermediate state, it is said to be beautiful in color, etc. The intermediate state of going to a good destination appears bright, as if surrounded by the light of the waxing moon. The sign of the intermediate state of going to a bad destination is like entering the darkness, or
