Then the Blessed One said to Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva: "Furthermore, good son, the Bodhisattva Mahāsattva who has accomplished this great compassion, skillful means, and wisdom, truly knows all dharmas. Why? Good son, this Bodhisattva Mahāsattva is unattached, unobstructed, unbound, ungrasped, unreliant, un abiding, unconfined, unloving, undefiled, and unattached to all dharmas. Why? Good son, this Bodhisattva Mahāsattva truly knows and truly sees all dharmas." Having said this, he further said: "Those who go to the lower realms, the evil paths, etc.," which means that because it encompasses the lower paths, it is called the evil path. Because it encompasses the good paths, humans and gods are called the upper realms. It is also established based on the locations of the ten directions of the world, and it also shows the Buddha-fields. It is also said based on what the sentient beings in those places see: "In those places, there are also Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, etc." It is also said based on seeing all forms definitively: "Names are called as such, etc." "Name" means to closely indicate with words, because it cannot be seen. Therefore, it is said to be the one who shows. Because one sees interruptions and obstacles, etc., it is said to be "on this shore and the other shore, etc.," according to what one desires. "As one desires" means to see as one desires. "Transforming the great elements" means to make them different, which is to establish their nature. "That transformation" means to show the nature of extreme joy, that is, to show that the four great elements transform each other and make them different. The transformation of sounds is not mentioned because there is no permanence. What is said based on the transformation of the collection of those two is "if grass and leaves, etc." "Hardness, toughness, firmness, vastness, and spaciousness, etc., are also transformed," and for the sake of showing this, it is said to be "Mount Meru, the snowy mountains, etc." What is said based on the transformation of sentient beings is "to sentient beings with beautiful appearances, etc." "Transforming anything else" means transforming from the previous thing to something else. "To whom there is no function of karma, one should not have faith in that," and for the sake of showing this, it is said to be "to have faith in other things in the nature of function, etc." Likewise, "transforming the realms and the elements" means "becoming something that is extremely accomplished," that is, it is.
